Video Premiere: Beyonce-Broken-Hearted Girl

Here is the new video from Beyonce for her song "Broken-Hearted Girl" off of her album I Am....Sasha Fierce.

There really is not much to say about the video. It consists of mainly candid shots of Beyonce being Beyonce; kind of reminisent of "Halo" and "Me, Myself, And I" combined. She's more affectionate with the guy in the video more than she is with her husband, but I digress.

Video Premiere: Cassie ft. Diddy-Must Be Love

Here is the new video from Cassie featuring Diddy for her song "Must Be Love" off of her album Electro Love coming soon.

Did you peep the subliminal message behind it? Not to rebel in gossip but... uh huh. The video was OK at best. I was expecting so much more from it. The song is simply fire and a great video to match it would have done wonders for her. The only interesting part about it came at the very end when things were set on fire and water started to bubble in the glass cup but other than that boo boo and boo.

I do have to say that Diddy did a great job at producing a beat that cushions her modest vocals, the song gives her great versatility but again the video could have been better; even low budget videos can be show stoppers.

Video Premiere: Jadakiss ft. Swizz Beatz & OJ Da Juiceman-Who's Real

Here is the new video from Jadakiss for his song "Who's Real" that features Swizz Beatz and OJ Da Juiceman ands appears on Jada's album Last Kiss.

The beat for this song is crazy and a signature of Swizz, but I can't help but to have a problem with the nursery rhyme inspired chorus, but for the most part the song is official. The video is not so amazing but I admire rap videos that take place in the hood.

Video Premiere: Kanye West-Paranoid

Remember that big fuss about Kanye's video not being edited properly for the song "Paranoid"? Well, here is the final version of the video starring Rihanna.

I like the final version a lot more, it gels well with the overall message of the song and most importantly it makes sense. Rihanna looks great and the scenery and layout of the video looked like it took a lot of thought. I loved the whole hot wheels race car look from the birds eye view, very cool

Video Premiere: Jeremiah-Birthday Sex

Here is the new video from Jeremih for his song "Birthday Sex".

The video isn't much to write home about but keep in mind that it is his first. When I first heard "Birthday Sex" I liked it for about 2 seconds; but of course, thanks to the radio that plays it every day at 7:30 AM like clock work, I am exhausted with it.

Video Premiere: Day 26-Stadium Music

Can't see the video? Click here.

Here is the new video from Day 26 for their song "Stadium Music" off of their album Forever In A Day in stores now.

This is a very cheesy video. This is like a low budget video gone a stray. First of all, what is going on with the Windows Media inspired background?! Secondly, why is Mike's black tee so tight? I love me some Mike, he is actually my favorite person in the group but tight shirts and him need not come together.

And lastly, why oh why is Robert holding a guitar that he did not intend on playing or at least pretend play? It seems like my fears are about to come true, this just might be the last album Day 26 puts out because by the looks of things Diddy didn't even bother to break his piggy bank for the video.

Video Premiere: Kanye West-Paranoid

Here is the new video from Kanye West for his song "Paranoid" off of his album 808's & Heartbreak.

The video features Rihanna and if this doesn't do anything for her image I truly don't know what will. Soon, every artists will want her in their video, she looks hot, see-through bustier and all!

For some strange reason I thought that she had a singing part in the song, it might have something to do with the fact that it was rumored that she was remixing the song with Kanye. Whatever the case is, the video is interesting.

They even added a car scene in the video, coincidence? I think not.

Video Premiere: Beyonce-Ego

Here is the new video from Beyonce for her song "Ego" off of her album I Am...Sasha Fierce.

I never thought I would see the day when Beyonce would make a sub par video. When I thought of the song "Ego" and what the video would look like, dancing was not one of the thoughts that came to mind. I was anticipating straight glamor shots paired with the cutest male models she could find on this god green earth.

Again she used the three girl theme that kind of got played out after her "Diva" video which was on point from the gold platted mannequins all the way to the c-note Chinese fan. This video on the other hand was boring. I will give her props though, girl knows how to cope with the recession by doing low budget videos, I am not mad at all.

....I really must ask, what exactly was going on in her backyard? Something just seemed off.

Video Premiere: Mos Def-Casa Bey

Here is the video for Mos Def's song "Casa Bey" off of his album Ecstatic due in stores June 9th.

Just a heads up, this is not your ordinary rap song or video; so those of you who are limited to seeing half naked women dropping it like its hot or the usual presence of a bottle of Nuvo you might as well skip pressing play. This song is straight up word association and is concept-less and still it is iPod worthy.

I admire Mos Def for his creative mind. He could have easily went down the simple route and added cars and shiny trinkets to his video but he decided to keep it simple yet interesting. Poetry in motion at it's best.

Video Premiere: Cam'ron ft. Skitzo & Byrd Lady-Cookies-N-Apple Juice/Silky

Here is the video from Cam'ron for his song "Cookies-N-Apple Juice". The video also plays out into a short snippet of "Silky"'; the beat for it is a sample from King Floyd's "Groove Me", a classic song by the way.

I am so mad at this video, that wasting words on it would be too much. First of all, the low budgetness of the video I can take and the massive T&A I can tolerate but all at the same time is just unbearable. BET might as well bring back their Uncut series just for Cam. Next, how dare he make a sample out of "Groove Me"! Some classics need to remain untouched by the producer butchers in the world.

Video Premiere: Mariah Carey- Love Story

Here is a new video from Mariah Carey for her song "Love Story". This video was sent to me via email with very little info but there is one fact; it was directed by husband Nick.

I don't know what it is about these two, but they just don't do it for me. It's interesting, because I usually get all warm and fuzzy inside when I see couples showing affection to one another but for some reason when they act all lovey dovey I feel like throwing up. At any rate, it is really good to see Mariah happy and filled with joy.

What the song taught me was how much I can not stand Jermaine Dupri when he produces. Why can't he just produce a song without adding his set of ad-libs?! Enough is enough.

Video Premiere: Teairra Mari ft. Flo rida-Cause A Scene

Here is the new video from Teairra featuring Flo Rida for her song "Cause A Scene". The video is pretty safe with the typical success formula; superb glam shots coupled with a club scene, all and all a good video.

I had a huge issue with the un-synchronized glow in the dark dance scene, the video could have done without it. Ray J's god-sister Lil B makes yet another cameo, the first one being Lil Kim's video. She is adorable but when did she become Ms. social Hollywood?

Video Premiere: Lil Kim ft. T-Pain & Charlie Wilson-Download

Here is a new video from Lil Kim featuring T-Pain and Charlie Wilson with her song "Download". I do not like this video. Straight up, I was expecting so much more from Kim.

We haven't seen her in how long and she returns with this?! Maybe it's the new face I can't seem to get past but whatever it is, something is off. I adore Lil Kim don't get me wrong but this video is not the biz. And I am so mad that Charlie Wilson even appeared in it he is too well established to show up to something that lacks pizazz.

I guess T-Pain's injury caused him to miss his appearance in the video. My question is, if you already have Charlie Wilson why even include T-Pain in the song? At any rate, it was good to see a few cameo's in the video like LisaRaye and Ray J's god sister Lil B but I was a little annoyed to see yet another bottle of this friggin Nuvo, what gives?

Video Premiere: Eminem-3 AM

Here is the new video from Eminem for his song "3 AM" off of his album Relapse in stores May 19th.

This video has rendered me speechless. I can see why it premiered on Cinemax and not on regular TV, it's pretty hardcore.

I can already see the trouble Eminem has landed himself in. I guarantee you Bill O'Reilly is writing up notes about this video to discuss on his show in the very near future; the smell of lead from his pencil is starting to fill the air right this moment....

Video Premiere: Maxwell-Pretty Wings

Here is the new video from Maxwell for his song "Pretty Wings" off of his album Black Summers Night due in stores July 7th.

It's great to see Maxwell back in the swing of things. I miss his full head of hair, it use to set him a part from the competition plus it was extremely sexy. Even without it though Maxwell still has that certain umph about him.

The video is pretty to the point with a touch of sensuality you know, true Maxwell style.

Video Premiere: Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy-Amazin'

Here is the new video from Kanye West featuring Young Jeezy for Kanye's song "Amazin" off of his album 808's & Hearbreak in stores now.

This video is hot, as usual. Kanye brings alive the thing he does best and that's colors. The colors in the video are very vivid and rich. This video premiered on BET's 106th and Park yesterday.

I was loving his new humble character he was trying to bring forth on the show...for like 3 minutes. At least he has reason to be cocky.

Video Premiere: Neyo-Part Of The List

Here is a new video from Neyo for his song "Part Of The List" off of his album Year Of The Gentleman in stores now.

I like the song a lot but the video is a bit confusing and it leaves me wondering what is next. I see he used the same girl from "Mad". I love it when artists use the same co-stars in their videos, it helps the story of what the video and song are trying to portray.

Video Premiere: Method Man & Redman ft. Saukrates-Ayo

Here is the new video from Method Man and Redman for their new song "Ayo" featuring Saukrates, who is a Canadian Hip Hop artists that is a member of Redman's Gilla House Records.

This song makes me feel good and it brings me in the zone. I am so happy to see Red and Meth back on the scene, it's been missing them.

They kept the video pretty simple doing a lot of video shots in front of a corner store. Simplicity is always best. Method Man sure is looking grown these days, I spotted a few gray strands in his beard; he's got seniorty now.

I am officially in la la love with Saukrates' voice.

Video rating: A yummy B+.

Side Order: Isn't it funny how no matter what the song is about there is always room for a cute female in a Hip Hop video?

Video Premiere: Eminem-We Made You

Eminem is back and trust me he hasn't lost his touch one bit. This video was hilarious and my goodness am I thankful the man is back. As far as the grossness and moments that will have you giggle to yourself (not too loud you know that you are at work) Em's got you covered.

The entire video is of Eminem making fun of celebrities. It's like a Scary Movie spoof but just done in under 5 minutes. He pokes fun at Jessica Simpson, Bret Michaels and his reality show, Amy Winehouse, Sarah Palin, and the cast of Star Trek to name a very few. Loved it!

Video Premiere: Fat Joe ft. Benisour-Cup Cakes

Here is the new video from Fat Joe featuring Benisour for Joe's song "Cup Cakes" off of his album J.O.S.E. 2.

I really am glad to see Joe get back up and come out with an album despite the whole 50 Cent fiasco that went down not too long ago. In this video, Joe is showing his gangster side and is making me hungry even though the song has nothing to do with actual cupcakes...now I want a cupcake.
