Popcorn Moments: Cam'ron and 50 Cent Have It Out On Live Radio
Beefs can be so messy at times. But they can also be entertaining especially if the right egos are added to the equation. One of those entertaining beefs took place in February of 2007 between rappers Cam'ron and 50 Cent.
Cam'ron happened to be 50 Cent's latest beef in 50's slaughterhouse of beefs that trail from his 2003 debut, and thought it would be wise to call up the Angie Martinez show while 50 was live on the air.
Angie of course nervous about the impending conversation repeatedly tried to inquire on the status of their relationship. As if 50 would say no we don't get along, 50 gives his nod of approval and here enters Cam.
The two go back and forth about numbers, album sales, and monetary incomes. To say the least this is one business meeting I wish would be held privately with me as a fly on the wall *pops popcorn*...

Popcorn Moments: Cam'ron on CBS
I'm torn in feelings when watching this video. A part of me wants to shake my head and roll my eyes at the genuine thoughts Cam'ron chose to reveal in this interview, but then my experience completely understands where he is coming from.
At any rate, this was one of the most entertaining interviews I’m sure CBS has ever gotten.
Anderson Cooper looked like he was sopping up every last moment of this interview. There is nothing that a journalist loves more than when the person they interview does the job of painting themselves in a bad light to the people who are not familiar with what they are talking about.
Mainstream media's meal of choice.

Video Premiere: Cam'ron ft. Skitzo & Byrd Lady-Cookies-N-Apple Juice/Silky
Here is the video from Cam'ron for his song "Cookies-N-Apple Juice". The video also plays out into a short snippet of "Silky"'; the beat for it is a sample from King Floyd's "Groove Me", a classic song by the way.
I am so mad at this video, that wasting words on it would be too much. First of all, the low budgetness of the video I can take and the massive T&A I can tolerate but all at the same time is just unbearable. BET might as well bring back their Uncut series just for Cam. Next, how dare he make a sample out of "Groove Me"! Some classics need to remain untouched by the producer butchers in the world.
Video rating: A yummy C-.

Jim Jones is ready to do business with Cam'ron
![]()
Jim Jones sat down and spoke with Flex of Hot 97 about his new ventures and the fact that he's been a little selfish in reconciling with Cam'ron.
He also said that he was ready to speak with Cam'ron and "do business".
This is great news. A lot of people have been waiting for the two of them to get back together and kiss and make up. However, it seems really opportunistic of Jim. His album drops today and judging by what he said and the reason why he wants to get back with Cam'ron it is mainly for business purposes (M.Y. summation of course).
I guess they need to start somewhere why not start on a business stand point. Let's see how this turns out.

Cam'ron wants to sit down with Bill O'Reilly again!
It takes more than a judgemental view and a few head shakes to keep Cam'ron from getting back up and trying again.
He told Life Files that he wouldn't mind going back on Bill O'Reilly's show O'Reilly Factor. The same O'Reilly Factor that he and Damon Dash appeared on that still garners a lot of Internet buzz. Depending on who you speak to, their appearance on the show either made people feel embarrassed for them or made people proud.
It's been nearly six years later since Cam appeared on the O'Reilly factor and he is now saying that he would love to return on the show,
"If they ever invite me, I would love to come back. I get a lot of people on the street who still tell me, 'I loved you on Bill O'Reilly' but whenever he invites me, definitely, I'd go back especially now since I know what type of person he is, I didn't know who Bill O'Reilly was before I got there and that was my first time. I had never watched the show before. I never knew what type of person [he was], that was just me being me."hmmmm...maybe not Cam.

Video: Did Cam'ron really speak to Jim Jones?
![]()
I am confused. Cam'ron recently sat down with MTV and told them that he and Jim had finally spoken after a long drawn out feud between the once BFF's, but now Jimmy is saying nay to said conversation.
Obviously someone is lying. Why would Cam say he spoke to Jim if he didn't? Could it have been for much needed promotion to get the media hounds going bonkers over a Dipset reunion?
OR
Is Jim just messing with us? I mean, he didn't sound like he was in the mood to talk on the radio show in the clip above.; or maybe the feud is helping his name stay relevant until his album drops, assist in sales if you may. I guess we will have to wait and see how this goes.

Cam'ron finally talks to Jim Jones!

In a feud that has lasted more than a year between two friends that everyone thought would never have a fall out, is coming closer to the end now that Cam'ron and Jim Jones have stopped acting like little school kids and actually exchange words.
Cam'ron recently revealed that after a long time of not speaking, he and Jim Jones finally broke the ice,
"Hell Rell and J.R. Writer, they always check in. Everybody has been reaching out. I've been the one kinda saying Cam is going to take time do Cam. But Hell Rell and J.R. definitely been reaching out. I called [Freekey Zekey's] phone four or five days ago and Jim picked up Zeke's phone. Me and him spoke for about 10 or 15 minutes, but me and Zeek speak all the time. I haven't spoken to Juelz."
So how did the conversation go?
"It was cordial. He knew it was me. He said we was gonna holla — maybe we'll put something together. But in the immediate future, I'm just doing Cam. But you never know what can happen down the line. I called Zeke's phone and I guess Zeke gave Jim the phone to pick up. We just talked, asked about each other's family. He said he's on a promo tour. He'd be back soon. That was that."
Is this the end of the split between Cam'ron and the rest of the Dipset crew? Hey you never know. Let's just pat them on the back for having a "pleasant" conversation. Soon they will be the best buds they once were.
Video: Cam'ron-Get It In Ohio
Cam'ron has really been on his grind ever since he came out of hiding. Here is his new video for his song "Get It In Ohio" off of his upcoming album Crime Pays in stores May 5th.
Cam'ron sticks to his low budget video theme but livens it up with fresh fashion, the metallic blue bubble I could have done without as well as the fur coat (you better watch your back for PETA they are vicious).
I like the song and the video; shows a realer appeal to hip hop right now; how many of us anyway are interested in seeing rappers flash their cash when we are pinching pennies to pay bills? It's a lot more grittier than Cam's earlier releases but I can definitely hear this booming from many a cars in about a week.
I give this video a yummy B+ for realism and Midwest love.
Side Order: I am so relieved he said Wisconsin and not Wiskansin like somebody did (ahem, T-Pain). The things we do to rhyme in a song.

Cam'Ron gives us a sample of his Cookin'
Here is a brief intro to Cam'ron's new video for his song "Cookin Up" off of his upcoming album Crime Pays in stores May 5th.
I see the good ol' Cam is back, make way y'all!
Side Order: Are they cutting up cocaine on camera?! That better be sugar... I can't...

Cam'ron sighting number 2

Snagged this from the fellas over at Highbrid Nation. Here is the April issue of XXL mag and look at who is the cover boy. Cam'ron decided to pose for a mag cover. A cover that comes out right after the Dipset crew made their little debut on the very same magazine.
I don't know, I have a very strange feeling that there is something very weird going on here.
I might be bugging just a bit but I'm starting to think that this whole Cam'ron going missing and Dipset supposedly turning on one another just might be a marketing ploy. I could in fact be wrong but something just ain't right here...
Cam'ron's album Crime Pays is scheduled to make an April 24th debut so look out for that.
Cam'ron...is that you?!
Huh?! I'm so confused...Cam'ron are you out of hiding now? You got a lot of catching up to do, you ain't gonna believe who's running your crew now...
On the charts...
