QUE FROM DAY 26 (FINALLY) GETS KICKED OUT OF GROUP

I am a firm believer in not standing in the way of someone making their money and more so their living. Wishing bad on others is not something I like to do or have happen to me but this right here was a long time cometh.

Que, in the last season of Making The Band, was a fool.

He carried himself like a child instead of like an adult that was concerned about building his career it was annoying.

It irked me so bad, that I had to write a personal letter to the boy because holding all that frustration inside is just bad for the skin.

Yes, I am that passionate.

Though some people have said that he's family trouble was the reason why he acted out in the way he did, that still is no excuse to be a tyrant. If you need some time off go for a walk or visit a strip club or two do something.

Well, all good things must come to an end and Que's meal ticket is done.

Not sure where he is going to go from here, it's not as if he stood out as a member to go solo.

I guess it's back to reality TV he goes.

SideBar: Maybe he and Aubrey can team up and form their group...cut me my check guys for the idea, thanks.

Video Premiere: Day 26-So Good

Here is the new video from Day 26 for their song "So Good" off of their album Forever In A Day in stores now.

This video is so good, and it's about friggin time we get a good video out of these boys. They smoked it up! I had to remove the fog from the computer screen.

Video Rating: A yummy A.

Video Premiere: Day 26-Girlfriend

Here is the new video from Day 26 for their song "Girlfriend" off of their album Forever In A Day.

So I am not 100% sure if this is the official video simply because it shuts off right in the middle of it, but all I can say is poor Day 26. The song is nice it has a nice air to it but we all know these boys' days are numbered.

The video seems low budget *then again what video isn't?* and we haven't heard a thing about them since the finale of Making The Band 4. If you ask me, the reality show was what was keeping our eyes on them. Realistically, now that it's gone is there any hope for their careers?

Video Rating: A yummy B.

Video Premiere: Day 26-Stadium Music

Can't see the video? Click here.

Here is the new video from Day 26 for their song "Stadium Music" off of their album Forever In A Day in stores now.

This is a very cheesy video. This is like a low budget video gone a stray. First of all, what is going on with the Windows Media inspired background?! Secondly, why is Mike's black tee so tight? I love me some Mike, he is actually my favorite person in the group but tight shirts and him need not come together.

And lastly, why oh why is Robert holding a guitar that he did not intend on playing or at least pretend play? It seems like my fears are about to come true, this just might be the last album Day 26 puts out because by the looks of things Diddy didn't even bother to break his piggy bank for the video.

Video Rating: A yummy C.

Recap: Making The Band 4 Finale

The Making The Band 4 season finale premiered live last night and it was worth every second. So of course with it premiering live and raw, we got a chance as viewers to get the real skinny on what really happened in the house between the boys of Day 26 and the real reason why Danity Kane broke up.

The rumors that all of the remaining members of Danity Kane would appear on the show was the truth, well partially. Missing from the bunch was Aundrea who decided not to attend the live tapping because as Shannon said, she wanted to be with her family and loved ones after the whole ordeal. I knew that positive mumbo jumbo was a front, how could you be so layed back about the accomplishments you had and then being let go and left to fend for yourself, but whatev. Day 26 took to the stage to give two performances that were pretty good. Que sounded horrible but overall it was good to see the boys on stage pumping and gyrating. I will admit, my heart softened for Que when he wiped Dawn's tears away during the episode that premiered last week (so sweet).

Now let's get to talking about Danity Kane. As mentioned, all of the girls appeared on the "last chapter" show (minus Aundrea) to talk about their future projects and possibly getting back together. Judging by their body language and the amount of eye rolling and eye popping going on at one another, I'm going to predict that these girls don't like each other; in fact I think they have a little beef with Dawn. When the girls first came out Dawn was seated next to Aubrey but after the show went to commercial and returned, D Woods had switched seats to sit in between Dawn and Aubrey,This is of course after Aubrey made a sly remark saying that Que was a part of her fan club; coincidence? I think not. I could see through all the fake smiles and stinging sarcasm.

Stepping away from the drama, the girls had positive outlooks on their futures and are looking forward to moving on with their lives. Shannon gave hint to the fact that she might get into country singing, Aubrey says that she may be getting her very own reality show but it looks like Diddy might have to green light that (which he probably won't unless he gets his share of the profits) judging by his hellion laugh when she mentioned it (gotta read the fine print folks); Dawn of course is going solo and doing her thing, and D. Woods says that she is working on her solo project and that we should expect her new single to hit the web this summer.

I took the liberty of listing the things that I learned from watching the show last night; Day 26 just might have some staying power if Diddy decides to keep them as a group, Brian is the modern day KC from Jodeci which is probably why Diddy picked him, It isn't fun watching Diddy chew gum but it is fun to watch him dance, D. Woods can not answer a question with a simple yes or no, someone needs to talk to them boys about those tight pants and dancing in them it seems like a disaster waiting to happen, Dawn looks fierce with short hair, Shannon is packing in her backyard, and Donnie just doesn't seem to have a chance unless he becomes an underwear model or actor.

Diddy also informed that he will be kicking off another season of Making The Band searching for another all girl group that can stand the test of time ~que eye roll here~ so stay tuned for the cities and dates that he will visit for his search.

If you missed this episode you can tune in to MTV I'm sure it will be re-airing everyday; they are infamous for playing re-runs so you will always be good to go.

Forever In A Day debuts at number 2

Day 26 clearly still has the juice to move units, sure did shut me up. It has been reported that Day 26 finished out last week in the number 2 spot, right under Miley Cirus; figuratively not literally ;-).

They sold a whopping 113, 208 albums in their first week which is very impressive for the Bad Boy's. Right behind them is Jadakiss at number 6 who sold 44,785 albums last week and Keri Hilson at numero 13 who is still moving units selling 26,367 albums.

I heard Forever In A Day and it is a good album. There are a few tracks the album could have done without but overall the album was pretty good. I can't wait to see Ricky's album sales! Check out the album review.

A message from Day 26: "Real men cry"

Day 26 stopped by Angela Yee's morning show (loves her), to talk about their group's relationship, MTV and the editing of the show, and...well...a little sex.

During the course of the conversation, the topic shifted to the boys crying on the show. They explained that they were just expressing themselves and may have shed a tear or 100 but that's OK, because real men cry; and if any other man or individual for that matter were in the same predicament like they were, we would shed a tear just as they did.

Que and the boys are so right, it takes a real man to cry and to show their vulnerable sides by being sensitive. Every man has that little button, that when pushed, can cry a bucket full of tears. However playboys, it takes a punk to b*tch. It really has nothing to do with them being men; quite frankly, I wouldn't want to be around females that act like that either.

Granted, Que is young and may not know how to deal with his emotions in a logical way yet; what he was doing on that show was not being sensitive; it was more like being b*tchie and annoying. The show (although I know has been edited to portray certain characters through a scripted light) was filled of them arguing over petty ish and then crying about it like little school girls being denied access to the school lunchroom. Sensitivity and bitchieness are two very different things, let the record stand on that; there really is no excuse.

In case you missed it last night....

Sorry about my tardiness y'all I had some pressing business to take care of earlier today I'll clue you in on what it was in the very near future. Enough about me and more about the episode of MTB last night.

It took Que having to make the entire boy band shed a tear like little girly men to have an epiphany on the fact that he is acting a fool, that and Diddy putting his a*s on a time out, shame. And wouldn't you know, the season is about to end! Mess around, this show just might earn itself an Emmy.

I also have a new found respect for make-up; Did you see Dawn and Aundrea without their faces?! Lawd.

The line of the week will officially be "What the f*ck you wanna do", spread the word. And apparently now calling someone "Aubrey" is a diss. Got it all? Now break.

M.Y. Manic Monday Relief: Diddy sets the record straight with Day 26

So I'll admit, I'm a little obsessed with MTB 4. Something about watching a group of men act bitchie and catty, makes me feel good as a woman knowing that I don't embody any of those characteristics therefore smashing sterotypes of how women and men are :-).

Anyhow, I just couldn't wait until Thursday to watch Diddy finally set the record straight with the girly men and to tell Que just what it was. So I went searching for the spoiler, and it was so worth it.

M.Y. minute: Day 26's single "Imma Put It On Her" is now available on iTunes.

Diddy totally throws a low blow (subliminally of course) at Aubrey...just listen carefully it's so obvious you won't even miss it.

The full episode airs Thursday at 9 PM on MTV.

Video Premiere: Day 26 ft. Yung Joc & Diddy-Imma Put It On Her

Here is the new video from Day 26 for their song "Imma Put It On Her" off of their album Forever In A Day in stores April 14th. This is the first video in a long time that I didn't view for the first time on the net which I found odd because since late last year, videos have been premiering on the net first.

So I went scavenging for the video to bring to you..ain't I a doll?

The video is very tropical, pretty appropriate for the new season. Didn't Diddy use that same scrambled screen back-drop in another video?

I think I'm starting to appreciate the little eye candy Willie is providing in this video.

Video Rating: A yummy B+

Side Order: A new episode of MTB premieres tonight on MTV. In this dramatic episode, it looks like Brian will get popped in the face by Que the Queen....

*New* M.Y's open letter to Que of Day 26

Dear Que,

I am seriously getting quite annoyed with your constant bickering and male ego that you just can not seem to get under control. Last night while I watched you pout and moan about not getting your way and being mad with X, Y, and Z I just really wanted to reach into my television screen and knock you out like how Akon's bodyguard did Suge. If I didn't pay $705.32 for my flat screen I would have lunged my slipper at it in hopes that you would have happened to feel it.

You need to man up and quick. All this arguing and accusing people of being jealous of you is so 6th grade and has got to stop bruh. You look like a fool arguing about going to go dance instead of record. If you don't record the song, please tell me what it is you are supposed to dance to?! Dammit, Dawn is more man than you!

I must express to you that I am sorry that you had to experience the hard knock life of the NYC streets but I think you brought that on to yourself. You always attract bad when you put out bad, and last time I checked not too many people get robbed in NY anymore; so like Mike said, that says a lot about your character.

So, let's try to suck it up and check the b*tchassness at the door. It's doing wonders for ratings but you are becoming as intolerable as the smell of someone constantly passing gas. Plus, I must add that you are very lucky that you are even allowed to put out another album on Bad Boy, they have a very strict criteria. Some of their artists don't last past one album, so count your blessings.

Sincerely,
M.Y.

P.S. please tell Diddy to tone it down a bit on the show...he can be a bit much during his solo moments.

Leaked Music: Day 26 ft. Diddy & Young Joc-Imma Put In On Her

This song is hot, but it was hotter without the addition of Diddy and Joc. The track kind of has a reminiscent sound of Usher's "In The Club".

That Diddy is such the self-promoter, Ciroc Obama...hmmmm ok. This album just might be fire, can't wait!

Album Cover: Day 26-Forever In A Day (part 2)

Last week, I posted up the album cover for Day 26's new album Forever In A Day, today I get an e-mail that says that this is the album cover.

Me no likey this one. It's like the Matrix gone wrong, too dark. When I think about the word "Day" I think of sunlight and brightness not black. My advice, stick with the first album cover fellas.

M.Y. Leaked Music: Day 26-Put It On You

I could never get into this group for two reasons; one because they are under Bad Boy Records and every time I so much as like an artist from Bad Boy they end up vanishing, and for two because they all kind of annoy me with the exception of Mike, I love me some Mike.

But this song right here is a banger and I can't help but to love it. It's a lot more up-tempo as appose to the songs on their first album and it makes you want to listen to it over and over again, I've listened to it 3 times in counting.

The album is looking to be a banger judging by the songs that they have previewed on their show Making The Band 4 on MTV. I just hope they can stick around.

Side Order: I know that their group name holds a very sincere meaning but it sounds like a pregnancy test, no?

On the charts...
