Video: Usher Might Not Want Another Lapdance In NYC

At a recent show at Madison Square Garden during his OMG Tour stop, Usher was given a painful lapdance that saw the R&B crooners face becoming acquainted with a fans shoe.

While Usher's "Trading Places" set the mood, the eager female fan lifted her leg to straddle him, something I'm sure she imagined doing often in her mind. The problem with her fantasy/reality was that she didn't lift her leg high enough (flexibility is everything) and slapped Usher in the face with her foot.

Ouch.

You can catch the embarrassing but well executed recovery at the 9:28 mark.

Other than the mistaken assault, Usher got some great reviews for his show.

According to Entertainment Weekly,

"Sure, it was a long night. But how one could idly sit with such a dazzling display of James Brown shimmies, numerous explosions, and confetti raining just feet away is baffling. The show demanded respect. And Usher knew it."

In a recent concert in Arizona during a stop on his OMG Tour, Usher brought American Idol winner Jordin Sparks on stage to give her a lap dance.

Usher must like himself a challenge because everyone knows how pro-virginity (good girl!) Jordin Sparks is. And even so, it looks as if Jordin had herself a good time...then again who wouldn't?

[NEWS] Usher Will Perform At The 2010 MTV VMAs

Usher has been added to the roster of performers for this year's 2010 MTV VMAs. He joins a list of anticipated performances which includes Kanye West, Justin Beiber, B.o.B and Eminem to name a few.

We need some female performers in here! I wouldn't mind a little Katy Perry and even some Gaga...

I wasn't very impressed with Usher's performance at the 2010 BET Awards maybe because I was expecting him to break out into "OMG" instead of just performing one song which was "There Goes My Baby."

Hopefully we get a show-stopping performance this time around, I know Usher has it in him.

The 2010 MTV VMAs are scheduled to air live September 12, 2010 only on MTV.

How Does Chris Brown & Usher On Tour Sound?

Seems like the partnership made between Chris Brown and Usher while the two were down in Jamaica last month will go beyond just a duet.

Producer/Songwriter Bryan Michael Cox spilled the juice (unintentionally of course) in a video, shedding light on news that has probably yet to be inked. But that won't stop the excitement from building up for all the Chris Brown and Usher fans out there.

The tour will more than likely hit the road next year if things go as suggested.

If this does happen, I definitely will need to get my hands on tickets to see all the dancing and shirtless wardrobes all in one arena. Only a fool and a straight man would say nay to that.

By the way, Chris Brown's single "Deuces" is creeping up Billboard's Hot 100 chart and is currently sitting at #56...

Here is the new video from Usher for his song "There Goes My Baby." This song appears on Usher's album Raymond v. Raymond that is in stores now.

This video is hot! It's all about Usher but it's done in a non-look-at-me-with-my-shirt-off way.

I don't care what anyone says, Usher has definitely regained some of that lost sexy he missed placed a few years back.

WATCH // Usher Performs 'OMG' On Oprah

Usher stopped by the Oprah Winfrey show yesterday (May 10) and performed his song "OMG" - a song off of his album Raymond v. Raymond.

Will.I.Am, who is featured on the song, joined Usher on stage and assisted in wowing the crowd. You can tell from the video that the audience was all into the performance, it was like a club in there.

Oprah even got into the performance capping it off with wearing Usher's shades after he threw them to her.

Don't Oprah look like she knows how to let her hair down once she has a few shots in her system?

I'll admit, I wasn't crazy about "OMG" when it first came out, it wasn't one of the songs I found to be that interesting on Usher's latest project; but now it's starting to grow on me. It probably sounds its best at parties.

New Music: Usher (feat. Robin Thicke) 'Secret Garden'

Here is new music from Usher titled "Secret Garden" featuring Robin Thicke.

This track that was originally recorded by the late Barry White will appear on Quincy Jones' upcoming remix album, Q:Soul Bossa Nostra.

The album will pay tribute to Jones' extensive catalog of songs with today's artists covering the songs he wrote and produced. Other artists that will appear on the album will be Mary J. Blige, Akon, Jennifer Hudson, Ludacris and Jamie Foxx to name a few.

Q: Soul Bossa Nostra is scheduled for release May/June 2010.

I see that Usher was waiting for the day of the album release to pull out the heavy artillery.This is the best video so far from him. The song is not the style I like but I'm sure it will sound great turned all the way up and blasted from floor speakers

The confidence and suave is definitely appealing in this video and he combined his grown man ish with dancing. Pretty good.

Random blurt: So...has anyone seen Usher's kids lately? I almost forgot he had kids.

Here is the new video from Usher for his song "Lil Freak" that features rapper Nicki Minaj. The song appears on his new album Raymond vs. Raymond that is scheduled for release next Tuesday, March 30th.

The video is very dark and sexual and features appearances from Jamie Foxx and Ciara.

Not that crazy about the song or the video but I can definitely see this helping Usher move more units than initially expected.

So...is bisexuality the new "it" thing? Interesting.

Here is the new video from Usher for his song "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)". The single is tapped to appear on his forthcoming album Raymond vs. Raymond that has a new release date set for March 30, 2010.

I'm impressed with the video! Surely but truly he is shedding his "married man" image and is getting back the sex appeal that initially attracted fans to him.

I'm actually excited to see what he has planned for the Grammy's on Sunday. The song has really grown on me.

Usher Pushes 'Raymond vs. Raymond' Back To March 2010

Are you among the many who are still waiting on Usher's album Raymond vs. Raymond to hit record store shelves..ahem...I mean iTunes?

Well, you will have to wait just a little bit longer as Usher has decided to push the album back.

The new release date is scheduled for March 30th, 2010.

It seems that Usher has taken my advice to push his album back instead of releasing it after it took a leak two months before its release.

The singer is also scheduled to premiere the official video for his song "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)" tomorrow morning exclusively on MTV.

This is definitely a good move for Usher as he can go back to the drawing board and concoct hit singles instead of relying on just one single to carry the album; which seems to be the theme for a lot of artists who experience album flops.

Usher has released a total of 4 singles off of the album and the only one that is catching fire is "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)", no bueno.

For an album that is being boasted as the follow-up to his smash album Confessions, they better prepare to come with it.

You can catch Usher when he performs live at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards this coming Sunday, January 31. The singer will also put on a performance during the half-time of the NBA All-Star Game that is set to air on TNT on Valentines Day, February 14th.

SideBar: Does the NBA want to ruin relationships this Valentines Day? Scheduling a game of that magnitude on a day that some women (not me) consider the ultimate "lovers day" is like washing your hands and drying them on the floor...not a good idea.

Video Premiere: Usher 'More'

Here is the new music video from Usher for his song "More." This single will appear on Usher's new album Raymond vs. Raymond.

This video was very confusing and didn't match the song at all. Maybe I lack the deepness it takes to fathom the hidden message, but a music video is supposed to be entertaining and is suppose to complete the story the lyrics begins.

One positive about the video is that it keeps your attention but that's only because you are waiting for it to make sense or for him to at least break out in a dance sequence.

I do see a trend on the horizon for the fashionable males; boots with tucked in jeans, it looks hot and that may be the look for 2010.

As for the video, back to the drawing board you go Usher. As he would say, this ain't it.

Usher is prepared to make a comeback with his brand new album Raymond vs. Raymond. With a fresh new divorce and single status by his side, Usher, ready to channel those energies, is ready to give birth to a hit collection that will be reminiscent of his Confessions days, but is that possible?

Usher sets release date for album

According to Rap-Up, the release date for Usher's 6th studio album Monster is set for December 8th.

Confessions was a really big album for Usher, with hope he will give us an album that will top it.

Producers that have been hard at work on banging out beats are Jermaine Dupri, Pharrell, and Ne-Yo. You know when Ne-Yo is on the payroll, the music is always good. Can't wait to hear the finished product.

Usher makes divorce look lucrative

What happens when you decide to get divorced and skip out with a brand new arm candy? You obviously get paid! Usher is the new face of the Got Milk? ad campaign and appears to be doing just fine.

Honestly, it's great to see Usher reviving his career, I thought he was down for the count. But there is nothing like a little controversy to get you right back in the swing of things. Hmmm....I wonder if this ad campaign was given to him because of Chris Brown's recent contract suspension?

Usher says he's sorry for putting Christina & Chris on blast

The recent homemade video usher and his crew put together has had a lot of people's undies in a bunch so much so that it has made headlines on numerous newspapers.

In case you missed it, Usher and Co. decided to put together a video in which they rant and raved about Christina Milian's hair and the fact that Chris Brown was jet skiing all happy happy joy joy while Rihanna was suffering.

Well, Usher has issued an apology. He says...

"The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved."

hmmm ok. Why would grown men be so interested in the color of a woman's hair and her outfit will leave me baffled for days. You were clearly expressing yourself and talking directly into the camera as if you were speaking to Christina and Chris so how would that be "taken out of context"? Wednesday's Scooby Doo mystery.

When vloging goes wrong

oh no they didn't! Clearly, liquor was in heavy rotation in this studio because some people decided to record their drunken diarrhea of the mouth.

First off, I know they don't have the audacity to sit and talk about someone else when their ish is not in order. Usher..I won't even start on you because you got a whole heap of growing pains, you grab a seat over there with Tameka.

Granted, my girl Christina was looking a hot fresh out of the oven mess that don't give these Mr. IMadeAnAlbumButFlopped (ahem, Johnta) and Sir IUseToBeHot "artists" the need to open their traps. I mean fellas, bitter much?! Sitting in the studio gossiping and giggling, not a good look. I can honestly say y'all are worst than the females.

Side Order: Umm... shouldn't Usher be at home with Tameka and the kids? I'm just sayin
