Estelle gives us a behind the scenes look at her new video for her song "Freak."

From what I can see, it looks like it's going to be a good watch. I can already hear people up in arms over her black make-up.

Estelle is working on a new album!

I have been blasting "American Boy" on the pod for sometime now and it usually competes with "Wait A Minute" on which one gets first play in the AM.

Apparently, Estelle isn't as in love with her song as I and millions of others are, and is reportedly in the studio working on a new album.

"I’m sick of singing ‘American Boy,’ so we need something else,” the West London native confessed at a recent party for the fashion line Chloé."- via MTV.

And according to her Twitter, she is working with John Legend and Mr. Haiti better known as Wyclef to add a little something, something to the album.

"Right now, I’m calling the whole project New London...’cause it’s kind of [about] when I moved from London to New York and when my worlds collided and everything came together.”

Estelle even gives hint that this album will be a mix of Marvin Gaye and Cold Play *I will adore her if it's more of a Marvin Gaye, you can never go wrong with a splash of Marvin*.

There is no release date for the album as of yet.

As we know, the Grammy Awards went down last night and it was lack luster and not even close to great but I'll get to that in a min. Anyhow, here are a few pics from the red carpet!

Estelle to perform at the Grammy's!

According to The Press Association, Grammy award nominated artist Estelle will perform at this years Grammy award ceremony going down this Sunday, February 8th, 2009.

This is such exciting news, I really do like Estelle and think that this is the boost she's going to need. Plus, Kanye will be present and there is a strong chance that they will perform "American Boy"; I should be so lucky.

Side Order: Remember, the Katie Couric Grammy special airs tonight on CBS at 9 PM. Make sure to catch it!

M.Y. Song of the week: Estelle-Wait A Minute (Just A Touch)

Estelle is one of those artists that I can't get enough of and trust me there aren't many. The English show stopper has class, pizazz, and style of her own. Not concerned at all with being out of the ordinary, Estelle gives us music that is original and one of a kind one of which being "Wait A Minute (Just A Touch)" off of her sophomore album Shine.

"Wait A Minute" is a mix of Estelle's lyrical and singing skills and was a hit with the masses. Ever since the drop of this song, Estelle has been shelling out nothing but hits and I hope she will continue to do so; show these so called singers out here how to do it right.

Estelle ft. Sean Paul "Come Over"

I caught this video over the weekend..love it! I honestly never imagined the two of them doing a song together but obviously the combination was magical. Estelle was able to mold to Sean's reggae style which was most likely easy because she's English.

Did Sean's braids move further back or is it just me? Nevertheless, he did a great job at appearing sexy and bringing his A game in this video as well as the song. I think they even kiss in the video! There was definitely a sexual connection between these two..either that or they are phenominal actors; but don't listen to me my eyes most likely were deceiving me (cause' i'm a sucker for la la love) but do keep your eyes open to catch it.

I give this video a yummy A- for reggaelicious romance and for a surprising musical combination..fool me once ;o).
