[News] Keyshia Cole's New Album Coming Later This Year
I don't know about anyone else, but I took that bit of info in stride only because I've heard that an album was coming from an artist only for it to be pushed back.
But Manny revealing that Keyshia will be releasing an album this year has turned out to be true with confirmation via Rap-Up.com who spoke with the producer of the track that is said to have potential of being a lead single off of Keyshia's new album.

[NEWS] Lady Gaga's New Album Set For Release Early 2011
Gaga revealed that the album is going to be more serious than her previous LP's including her hit debut The Fame and that she is contemplating tattooing the album's name on herself.
But about the music, in her words...
"The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be." {Source}
More serious than the last?! Can you imagine what the videos are going to be like for those songs? *grabs rosary beads, then places them back down after getting a flash back of the scene from "Alejandro"*
More Gaga anyone?

Chris Brown to release 'Graffiti' on Dec 15
I know the world is supposed to hate this kid but I'm personally happy that he and Rihanna are moving on with their CAREERS and releasing ALBUMS; more so for Rihanna who hasn't released an album in over 2 years.
Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz will appear on Chris's first single titled "I Can Transform Ya" and from what I understand, Ryan Leslie produced a few tracks on the album as well.
Can't wait to hear the material, maybe he'll open up about what happened that night in one of his songs since he's been so tight-lipped about it in interviews - understandably of course.

Rihanna's album due in stores November 23
Turns out the Amazon page was right after all. Rihanna announced via her Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook that her new album is set to be released next month November 23, 2009.
As of yet, the album's name has not been released. It's as if there is a secret 007 mission being carried out by Def Jam for this album.
Normally, I would say that this is too soon to release an album that has received little promotion, but Rihanna has been self-promoting herself for months and has had fans literally thirsty for a new album so this just might work out.
Rihanna will perform the lead single from the album on Good Morning America according to ABC News. This lead single has yet to be released but I'm sure it will drop soon enough.
I'm just ready for an album. If I see one more photo of Rihanna that has nothing to do with the album I'll lose it, enough is enough already.
Here is a behind-the-scenes look at Rihanna on the set of her photo shoot for her album cover.

Blueprint 3 gets pushed up
It makes more sense for the album to be released on the 8th seeing that it falls on a Tuesday and albums are typically released on Tuesdays. It does take away from the bittersweet anniversary of the first Blueprint.
I'm not sure how this will affect Rhapsody's promotion of selling the album from their site, but I'm sure the Jay-Z fans out there are not salty about the push up. Besides, with all the leaks a push up is probably the best course of action.
He will, however, still perform live in concert on September 11th for the New York Police and Fire Widows and Children Benefit Fund at NYC's Madison Square Garden. Remember, you can watch the event on Fuse TV at 9 PM on September 11th. What I wouldn't give to be in the front row.

Preview Whitney Houston's 'I Look To You'
Judging from the tracks, we are about to get a sophisticated and appropriately grown Whitney. Some of these songs will most definitely find it's way in movies, especially "I Look To You" .

Mos Def gets Ecstatic
Mos Def is about to return on the scene with his new album!! The album titled Ecstatic will feature production from Kanye West, J. Dilla, and Chad Hugo to name a few.
According to allhiphop, Mos has already debuted some of the tracks off of the album on his myspace so it looks like we are about to get a little Mos Def this summer. As of right now, the album is being finalized and Mos is planning a U.S. tour so check back with M.Y. for tour dates.
So excited for Mos' return. He hasn't given us an album since 2006. He has done songs on the side, one of yours truly's favorites was the song he did on Kanye's album The College Dropout featuring him and Freeway.
Two Words - Kanye West
Mos' album is scheduled to hit stores June 30th. I knew summer would be bananas this year!

Robin Thicke is tapped to release a new album this year
Robin Thicke is preparing to release another album this year following his album Something Else released September of last year.
Robin tells Billboard, that his forth album will have a "new rock, Hip Hop, and soul sound" and that he will be working with producers this go round' to share some of the album's credits,
"I'm just really stretching the ceiling a little bit with an open mind, and the results have been wonderful."
Good for him. It is amazing how he went from looking like a scruffy bike messenger to a debonair divo. He and Jennifer Hudson's tour kicks off March 31st in Albany NY.

Rick Ross' Deeper Than Rap gets pushed back
It has just been reported that Rick Ross' Deeper Than Rap has suffered the "doom of the push-back". The album was scheduled for a March 10th release but has now been pushed back with no release date determined as of yet.
Not surprising, I was waiting for this to happen. Deeper Than Rap has been getting mediocre promotion and the bad promotion 50 has been putting out for Ricky does not make the situation any better. 50's album has also been pushed back again, awaiting the release of Eminem's album.
Let the beefing continue boys...

Lupe's album pushed back...
INDEFINITELY!! Can you believe this! Lupe Fiasco revealed on FNF Army that his third upcoming album LupE.n.d. that was reportedly suppose to be his last album due in stores this December, has been suspended indefinitely. Here are his thoughts...
"Due to circumstances beyond my control...the album roll out has changed radically...LUPE.N.D. has been postponed indefinitely!!!
As a matter of fact consider it cancelled until further notice!!!
Sorry Guys & Gals!!!!...the rumor mill and bitch ass cowards are going to have a field day with this one!!!...I'll just keep quiet about the actual reasoning so everybody can put their very special two cents in...
OK..so what now???
Actually an album is still coming in June...Thats Right!!!...Drum Roll Please...
"THE GREAT AMERICAN RAP ALBUM"
Yeah thats the new title..."
Such a sense of humor this one has. He then went on to give a track list with names that were the track numbers..I know confusing. Somehow, I think that this is a joke and a ploy. Maybe I'm in denial because I was really hoping (ANTICIPATING LUPE) for an album from him. Well, if this is true about this album The Great American Rap Album then I'm not too mad; I can deal with two Lupe albums in one year. But seriously, these rappers and their labels need to stop playing with my emotions; I feel like a kid that was promised a car by their parents if they did good in school and never got it.
I am rooting for you too for that Grammy...

Keri Hilson "Perfect World" Pushed Back
To all the Keri Hilson fans, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Keri Hilson's first studio album "Perfect World" which was suppose to come out this summer then before the end of this year, has been pushed back for a 2009 release. The album that includes the captivating song "Energy" will have to wait to grace your CD players next year. Don't fret, this year is shockingly almost over so you won't have to wait long.
I hate when they do that. Personally I am not a major fan of the songstress. I feel she is an incredible songwriter but I do not feel she has figured out what she wants her image to be and you know the saying, image is everything. I need originality. I love "Energy" and I will be waiting patiently for a release.
In my opinion, I believe her label is pushing her album back out of fear that it will flop. Beyonce's album is set to hit stores very soon and Beyonce is known to out sell the best. Oh well, we shall wait. But while you wait check out Keri's video "Energy" below.
