Video Premiere: Snoop Dogg 'Wet'
Here is the new video for Snoop Dogg's song "Wet." This song appears on Snoop's upcoming album Doggumentary Music.
The video that is blue lit shows women in...well, wet situations. With a pool and shower scene, plus what seems like an orgy-like setting, this video might just get banned.
I actually liked Snoop's track "Sensual Seduction" where he uses my arch-enemy, auto tune, but this song doesn't really compare. But because Snoop is so smooth, there is some potential of this song growing on me.

Video Premiere: Dr. Dre (Feat. Akon & Snoop Dogg) 'Kush'
Here is the new music video from Dr. Dre for his song "Kush" that features Snoop Dogg and Akon. "Kush" is said to be the lead single off of Dre's highly anticipated album Detox. Good luck wfinding out when it will come out...
The video is hot and so is the single, as sinful as it may be. For most of the video, Dre, Snoop and Akon are the only people in motion while partygoers and half-naked women are frozen in time, raining cash and all.
There were a few cliche moments for the veterans of rap but the video is creative. There's something very nostalgic about seeing Snoop and Dre together in a video again.
I think most fans are just happy to get some kind of sign that the Hip Hop urban legend known as Detox might finally be on its way.

New Music: Snoop Dogg ft. The Dream-Gangsta Luv
The Dream seems to be the go to person for features these days. The song has a nice bop to it. I'm not crazy about it, but I wouldn't mind playing it while I work. Anything Snoop releases is always fine like wine.

Snoop Dogg gets waxed
Snoop is the newest addition to a list of celebrities that have been reincarnated into wax for Madame Tussauds museum collection. The museum that has produced wax figures of Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Beyonce, Josephine Baker, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson (post-Jackson 5) and many more, unveiled Snoop's wax figure in Las Vegas.
Snoop is the first living rapper and the 3rd Hip Hop icon to get a wax figure in the museum. Speaking from experience, Madame Tussauds' museum is the ish! I went when I was a teenager and had a blast. If you live in the New York, Washington D.C., California area or wherever their museum is located out of the states, I highly recommend stopping by and getting a glimpse at what they are working with; the wax figures are very precise in facial features (and then some) to the actual celebs and can easily past as real, real talk. visit their website at http://www.madamerussaud.com/.
I had to snicker to myself when I saw that they even added the blue bandanna to Snoop's wax figure's left trouser pocket, I wonder if they even know what it stands for....

Snoop leaves Interscope Records
In an interesting turn of events, it has just been reported that Snoop Dogg has parted ways with his longtime record label Interscope. Snoop has seen a lot of success with Interscope releasing Doggystyle in 1993 that ended up going quadruple platinum according to RIAA.
This is not the first time that Snoop has left Interscope. In 1998 Snoop left Death Row/Interscope and spent a little time on Master P's label No Limit Records. He eventually returned to Interscope where he released three albums signed under Geffen Records.
As of right now there is no word what Snoop's plans are but I'm sure he has a bright future ahead of him.
In my opinion, I think he needs to start his own label and put out albums under it. He has a very solid fan base and doesn't need the assistance of any major labels unless of course for promotion; but I'm sure he can handle it. I'll keep you posted.

Snoop Dogg ft. Rock & The Father Hood Family "Staxx In My Jeans"
I thought this video was hilarious lol. It stars Snoop's son impersonating Snoop showing off stacks of cash with his little homies. The beat is intoxicating and Snoop's verses were on point and had some humor.
I give this video a yummy B+ for kiddie cash stacks; his belt weighed more than him. Loves it.
This video kind of reminds me of...
Side Order: When I was Snoop's son age probably younger, I would just dream about having all that money, I use to dream about spending it on Onion Rings, Now & Laters, and Blow Pops (only strawberry flavor) I'm not even going to lie. What?! I wasn't a materialistic kid you know...
