Beyonce & Alicia Keys Perform 'Put It In A Love Song' Live

Alicia Keys performed at the Garden last night as part of her stop on her 'Freedom' tour here in NYC.

Surprised, surprised were how the audience were when Alicia jumped right into her song "Put It In A Love Song" which features Beyonce. As soon as Beyonce hit the stage the crowd erupted with joy and who could blame them? There is nothing better than two powerhouses on one stage. They definitely got their money's worth last night and then some.

The performance was good at best. I personally am not that big of a fan when it comes to the song. I would have loved to hear them on a slow jam with a heavy bass accompaniment. "Put It In A Love Song" would have been great for a newbie artist but not two artists that have cemented themselves as the best of the best.

It's no where to be found on Billboard's Top 100 charts and forget about the Hip-Hop/R&B charts. This might have a lot to do with them deciding to push the premiere of the music video for this song to mid April.
