Video Premiere: Alicia Keys 'Unthinkable (I'm Ready)'

Here is the new video from Alicia Keys for her song "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)" off of her album The Element of Freedom in stores now.

Staying true to her promise, Alicia delivers a vintage style video set in the 1950's but she throws in a twist by interchanging with a scene that is also set in real time.

The video has a concept...the second video this week with one (ahem Drake) and shows Alicia exploring the waters of interracial dating. Although she's found love in a man from another race, she has her family who are against it. At the end she has to make a decision to either follow her heart or obey her family. She reaches to push her house's screen door to meet her lover outside who is waiting for her in his car, but then in a separate scene brings her hands to her sides.

Deep huh?

Loved the video just as much as I love Drake's and interestingly he wasn't in this one even though he was featured on the original song and wrote it.

"Unthinkable", to me, is the best track off of her latest project probably because it has that R&B element that goes so nice with her voice.

Wonder if we will be getting "Put It In A Love Song" anytime soon...
