JAY-Z & ALICIA KEYS' 'EMPIRE STATE OF MIND' USED IN TRAILER FOR 'SEX AND THE CITY 2'

I almost jumped for joy when I heard Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' single "Empire State of Mind" as the opening track for the Sex and the City 2 movie trailer last night.

Now, I love the first movie (adored the show) and love "Empire State of Mind" so to have the two combine is a huge deal, well, for me.

Some people might be thinking, well, so what? It's just a song that was used, and to that I say yeah right! You are so missing the point here.

They chose a Hip-Hop song as the background track for their movie trailer. Although Jay's part was blacked out, it's a step in the right direction. Besides the fact that Jay and Alicia will get royalties off of it, this is just another pop-your-collar moment for the two who have already performed the song live at the World Series.

It doesn't get any better than this.
