Producer for Rihanna's 'Russian Roulette' responds to Tiffany Evans' 'devil worshiper' rant

The new thing that is floating around the net is that Rihanna's single "Russian Roulette" is satanic, I just knew that girl's edgy ways would catch up with her.

Singer Tiffany Evans ("Promise Ring") recently went on a twitter rant where she said that the suicide rate will rise due to Rihanna's single promoting suicide and that there are people within the industry who are selling their souls to the devil, literally, to make a buck.

Hey, stranger things have happened...

Well, Chuck Harmony the producer of "Russian Roulette", was none too tickled with Tiffany's colorful tirade and decided to speak out on behalf of the song, calling Tiffany immature and unrealistic.

"There are no satanic messages in the music. Maybe if we did a remake of ‘Promise Ring’ (Tiffany’s hit single), then Rihanna wouldn’t be a devil worshipper. People are so closed minded. The song is not literal. Like most provocative art, its symbolism. Grow up. I’m never going to defend my art…I create it and then it’s out of my hands. So reviews don’t hurt me, but Tiffany’s unrealistic take on the song really urked me because idiots breed idiots.

Bottom line, she is in the music business so she understands that the song is not indicative of the artist views, but rather, it’s the brainchild and vision of the songwriter and producer. With that being said, to use that song as a shining example of devil worship in the music business, you are saying that Ne-yo and Chuck Harmony are devil worshippers. Thats stupid!! That’s beyond stupid it’s immature. Artist should understand art. So with Tiffany Evans rant, I can safely say that the title artist should not be part of her bio."

Most people brushed Tiffany's rant off as her being two marbles short of a jacket that makes her hug herself; however, Chuck's response shows that she must have struck a nerve. Plus, the fact that she is in the industry that she speaks of kind of raises a few red flags. This isn't just any ol' random somebody standing in Times Square saying Satan works for FOX and wears Prada.

Do I believe there are some people in the industry that worship the devil, yes this is possible; but so are the chances that my landlord also enjoys daily praying to Satan himself.

If the music is toxic maybe it is up to people to have the right sense to distance themselves from that and if they are simple minded enough to have it take them over then... well.... you get the point.

No one had much to say when Rihanna released that funky weird video for "Disturbia", what happened to the devil worshiping talk then? That would have made so much more sense.
