Lil Wayne is tired of Rap

If his new album Rebirth-that is due in stores in June-wasn't the first clue that Wayne no longer wanted to do rap, what was?

Wayne is on the new cover of Rolling Stone Magazine and in an interview with the mag, Wayne explained why he decided to do a Rock album.

According to Wayne, he feels he has accomplished everything a successful rapper would want out of his/her career and is ready to branch out into a new genre, preferably Rock & Roll.

"The rock s**t just comes from what my life is now. I’ve grown into this person. I just got - I’m not going to say 'so good' at what I was doing, but it became such a regularity for me that I got tired of it. And then I said, ‘You know what? I’m not going to rap on this one."
Here is where the confusion lies; Baby tells a totally different story. Baby was quoted as saying that Wayne's Rebirth album is not a Rock album at all but that it is just Wayne growing as an artist and that the beats used on a good portion of the album may be Rock inspired, but that it is still rap.

Scooby Doo mystery, is Rebirth a Rock or Rap album? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Whatever it is Wayne has stated that he is no longer interested in Rap, for now that is. I wonder how his fans feel about that..fans?
