Mims covers Ozone Magazine

MIMS is the cover boy for Ozone Magazine's upcoming issue. The obsession with artists and sunglasses I probably will never get however they always look fresh.

Speaking of MIMS, he recently did a video blog for Global Grind and it went a little something like this....



MIMS is speaking the truth in this video. I think that he is on to something and is in touch with his fan base. Making music for the majority is always the way to go especially if it's worth listening to. One thing that annoyed was the fact that he talked about his numbers after keeping it real about how rappers need to change their "gaudy lyrics". Numbers has nothing to do with your talent.

I'm sure he did incredible numbers for "This Is Why I'm Hot" it was a pretty simple song with basic lyrics and a hot beat, the current formula of Hip Hop unfortunately. It was on every commercial and it was considered the top selling song in ringtones; but in my opinion it really wasn't that hot of a song, it was more like a ringtone song and I hate those.

Anyhow, we'll see if MIMS can top his past success with his new album. MIMS' album Guilt is due in stores April 7th.
