Beyonce “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”

Beyonce’s new video “Single Ladies” is a video I honestly did not expect from the prim and proper Mrs. Knowles-Carter. Dressed in a one-sleeve body suit gyrating and dropping it not like its hot but like it was on fire really shows us that madam B has been liberated thanks to her marriage to Jay-Z or maybe I should say thanks to Sasha Fierce, the performers alter ego. I personally dislike the song “Single Ladies”.

To me it sounds too much like “Freakum Dress” and “Crazy in Love” and I am tired of both. The only hot part of the song is the breakdown towards the end however; Beyonce sure does a good job at keeping our attention through out the video. At some points I feared she would break her back or even a limb because of how she was putting in work. And the emphasis on the ring finger on her left hand is a bit played out, well for me.

We get it; you’re married and want to keep a tight lip about it but quit teasing us already with it. I must say though, the black and white did add a little classic touch to the video but not enough to make me fall in love. She did an incredible job in the dancing and showed that she is well prepared to work it when her international tour jumps off. Beyonce's album "I am Sasha Fierce" hits stores November 18.
