New Music: Usher (feat. Robin Thicke) 'Secret Garden'

Here is new music from Usher titled "Secret Garden" featuring Robin Thicke.

This track that was originally recorded by the late Barry White will appear on Quincy Jones' upcoming remix album, Q:Soul Bossa Nostra.

The album will pay tribute to Jones' extensive catalog of songs with today's artists covering the songs he wrote and produced. Other artists that will appear on the album will be Mary J. Blige, Akon, Jennifer Hudson, Ludacris and Jamie Foxx to name a few.

Q: Soul Bossa Nostra is scheduled for release May/June 2010.

Robin Thicke Welcomes A Baby Boy

Congratulations are in order for soulful crooner Robin Thicke and his beautiful wife Paula Patton.

Singer Alicia Keys confirmed last night (April 6) during her concert in Los Angeles at the Staples Center that Paula had given birth to the childhood sweethearts' first child.

The lucky baby boy has been named Julian - a name that Robin confirmed a few months back.

Can't wait to see the photos of baby Julian. With parents so beautiful, Halle Berry's baby girl Nahla might just have her a prospect in 2 decades.

Billboard Reminds Us Of What Robin Thicke Used To Look Like

I almost forgot how much of a change Robin Thicke has made over the years...

I remember a few years back hearing a song titled "When I Get You Alone" on the radio that sampled the classic Beethovan Symphony No. 5.

The song was recorded by an artist known as Thicke.

When I finally saw the video I was a little disappointed to see the unkempt face behind the voice. I brushed it off and knew that-that look was not going to get him far, but still loved his voice and the song even more.

Robin Thicke & Nicki Minaj Perform On David Letterman [Video]

Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj recently stopped by the David Letterman Show to perform their song "Shakin' It For Daddy" in front of a late night studio audience.

I'm going to be honest, I do not like this song and I highly doubt that it will grow on me. Not saying that it may not stick with others, but for me it's just not my cup of tea and before Sex Therapy I thought it wasn't Robin's either.

Kudos to Nicki for making her way to national TV and shout out to the designer of her dress, Dominique Auxilly, who was among my high school graduating class; but other than the mentioned positives, this performance paired with the song was too difficult to get through, sorry.

I love the behind the scenes look at how songs are created! Here is a video of Jay-Z and Robin Thicke working on their song "Meiple" in the studio.

2. Jay sure is a tad rude, snapping at people to get up out of his seat, what's up with that?

Here a new video from Rick Ross for his song "Lay Back" featuring Robin Thicke.

The video is pretty hot, using elements of colors to bring out the overall appeal of the song. I personally am not loving this lover boy direction Rick Ross is taking. To me he is just not smooth enough to pull off the velvet teddy bear style. I'm all about peace and harmony, it's the Libra way, but he should find someone to beef with to help stay afloat.

Video Rating: A yummy B+.

Robin Thicke is tapped to release a new album this year

Robin Thicke is preparing to release another album this year following his album Something Else released September of last year.

Robin tells Billboard, that his forth album will have a "new rock, Hip Hop, and soul sound" and that he will be working with producers this go round' to share some of the album's credits,

"I'm just really stretching the ceiling a little bit with an open mind, and the results have been wonderful."

Good for him. It is amazing how he went from looking like a scruffy bike messenger to a debonair divo. He and Jennifer Hudson's tour kicks off March 31st in Albany NY.

Robin Thicke "Sweetest Love"

Here is the new video from Robin Thicke for his song "Sweetest Love" off of his third album "Something Else". Can't nobody tell me this man was not inspired and influenced by Stevie Wonder I can see it ozing out of every note he hits. I love this song..it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :-).

It's shot in black and white and has a simplicity about it. I wonder how Paula feels about her hubby rubbing and caressing a model?..What am I saying its Paula Patton! Even I know she looks good plus she had Denzel and Andre 3000. The chorus is so catchy I will most likely start humming it by tomorrow.

I give this video a yummy B+ for its rendition of classic romance.

While we are on the subject of Robin Thicke..well the new Robin Thicke; I remember a while ago seeing a video on BET's Now of an artist named Thicke (how freaky is that name). He was like a scruffy bike messenger you see riding their bikes up and down Manhattan. Anyway, next thing you know he cleans himself up and changes his name and style and is now known as..wait for it..Robin Thicke. Take a look at the original Robin Thicke before he became a pretty boy. I love this song by the way.
