Video Premiere: Ciara 'Ride'

Here is the new video from Ciara for her song "Ride" that features Ludacris. The song will appear on her upcoming album Basic Instinct.

The video shows the original Ciara in action. She definitely has returned to her roots and what made her the toast of the town. Back to dancing and humping floors, the video is impressive.

Clothes of course continue to be optional  and not so much necessary.

Ludacris' 'Battle Of The Sexes' To Premiere On Myspace

Let me just say that I have been patiently waiting for this album since last year and am too happy that it is finally ready to see the light of day...and the inside of my iPod.

Ludacris' newest effort Battle of The Sexes is scheduled to hit stores on March 9th, 2010, but you can get a preview of what the album has to offer when it premieres on Myspace March 6-8!

New music from Ne-Yo has leaked which is getting me a bit excited, it's been a while since Ne-Yo has ruled the airwaves solo. Ne-Yo is said to be working on his new album that is being touted as The Year of The Gentleman part 2.

VIDEO PREMIERE: LETOYA LUCKETT 'REGRET'

Here is the new video from LeToya Luckett for her song "Regret" that features Ludacris off of her album Lady Love in stores now.

The video is very straight to the point and simple, which is appropriate because the song shines perfectly on its own.

It really is a crying shame that Capitol Records hasn't done more to push LeToya's album. In my opinion, it is one of the best underated albums of the year with Amerie's In Love & War coming in a close second.

What can I say, the labels know what they want.

Shawnna declares war on Ludacris on new album

At a recent concert in Michigan, Shawnna took to the stage to inform the crowd on her going-on's and where she's been all this time.

As you know, Ludacris and Shawnna will go head-to-head on their new album Battle Of The Sexes.

Shawnna made it a priority to set the record straight on who is lyrically putting it down between she and Luda on the album, and..well...I'll let her tell it...

TV Appearance: Ludacris Live on Jimmy Fallon

Ludacris is such a phenomenal artist and I am too mad that his album Theater Of The Mind didn't get the recognition it deserved; I think this was because he and Kanye's album came out on the same day and given the controversy with that album it overshadowed Luda's.

Anyhow, Luda performed live on Jimmy Fallon's new Late Night show and did a great job. The fact that The Roots are on this show will give way to a whole lot of Hip Hop acts making their way to late night TV.

Here is the new video from Ludacris featuring Plies for Luda's song "Nasty Girl" off of Luda's album Theater Of The Mind in stores now.

Once again there are eye treats for the fellas and very little for the ladies, no fair. Plies also makes an appearance in the video, no comment.

I give this video a yummy B+ for Luda filled fun.

I like the song with the exception of Plies but like Luda said what would a song about "Nasty Girls" be like without Plies and to that I must say, a good song...

Ludacris "Everybody Hates Chris"

Here is the new video from Ludacris for his single "Everybody Hates Chris" which appears on the new album "Theater Of Mind". I really like the song. I think it is so hilarious. Its like I said anyone that can make fun of themselves shows that they have a strong character and little ego.

The video is simple and looks low budget but its still very funny. I wish they would have gotten Chris Rock to star in the video since he was featured on the track on the album...hey what are you gonna do?

I give this video a B- for hilarious content..oh yea! F*#k you Luda! :-)

Album Review: Ludacris "Theater Of Mind"

Ludacris’ Album Theater Of Mind dropped Monday, November 24th after being pushed up from November 25th by his label. It was, in my opinion, overshadowed by Kanye West’s album 808’s & Heartbreak that was also released on the same day by the same label, Def Jam. Kanye West/ Ludacris' Albums

So I have some good news for all of the Kanye West's and Ludacris fans. Now you don't have to wait until November 25th to get your hands on their new albums you can get them a day earlier!

Their albums have been moved up for a November 24th release. In an effort to ring in more bucks from the Thanksgiving holiday season the artists record label Island Def Jam have decided to push it up for early releases. This is news I can get use to! We always hear about artists albums getting pushed back and finally albums that we really want are coming out earlier. Granted its only by a day, you gotta take what you can get. So mark your calendars.

Speaking of Kanye, here is the new video from his new song "Heartless". I love the video, its so creative and colorful. He even added some The Jetson's art. I love the Jetsons! I can not stand the song though. I loved "Love Lockdown" but now I think I'm getting annoyed with him using auto-tunes too. At first it was fun now its really starting to irk me.

R.I.P. TRL..True or False?

True. TRL will air for the very last time on Sunday, November 16th and will be entitled "Total Finale Live" *cue the violins*. Confirmed performances will be 50 Cent as the main hip hop performer as well as Beyonce, Backstreet Boys, and Fallout Boy.

Mariah Carey, Diddy, Ludacris, Nelly, and Snoop are also scheduled to make appearances. Good ol' Carson Daly will be returning to co-host with current host Damien Fahey. Personally, I believe the show fell apart after Daly's departure but with all good things they must eventually come to an end.

So grab the boxes of tissue and a seat in front of your television sets..or shall I say flat screens and tune in to the farewell episode of TRL. It is sure to be a tear jerker. (Sniff!)
