In Touch Weekly claims that Kanye sent Oprah's "people" an e-mail stating that he will be unable to appear on her show.
At first I attributed the cancellation of his appearance to him globetrotting and planting air kisses on models and the likes in Paris at fashion shows. But then I thought: no, that doesn't make sense and it doesn't seem logical ...Kanye has to be smarter than that.
He's a Chicago native, Oprah's show is in Chicago; plus, he has this new album coming out in a month. There's no way Kanye would pass up an opportunity to appear on Oprah's show, a show that is currently in its final season, or would he?
So, I don't know how much truth this holds, but if it is true that's not a good look.
Granted, Oprah has had her reservations about Hip Hop artists in the past; she did have Jay-Z on her couch. She even went strolling through the projects and I'm sure not to just catch a little sun.
Needless to say, I will have to wait and see if any of this is true. According to the magazine, Oprah isn't too pleased about Kanye's cancellation and the tacky way he did it ...allegedly.
