Video Premiere: Ne-Yo 'Beautiful Monster' + 'Champagne Life'

Here are two new music videos from Ne-Yo for his songs "Beautiful Monster" and "Champagne Life." The two songs appear on Ne-Yo's upcoming album Libra Scale which is due in stores on September 21, 2010.

Ne-Yo premiered the videos on BET's 106th and Park yesterday (July 14).

The double videos are pretty much short movies. There are super powers, fight scenes, and drunken moves in the video for "Beautiful Monster" and a straight up party in "Champagne Life."

When I first viewed the video for "Beautiful Monster" I wasn't impressed. But after learning the storyline behind it and seeing it acted out, I realized that it is just filled with mounds and mounds of creativity.

Ne-Yo revealed in a short interview on 106th and Park that he plans on releasing double videos for almost all of the songs off of the new album to elaborate the story. He explained that the goal with this album was to satisfy his fans that like his Pop side as well as the fans that adore the R&B side.

I'm interested to see how this turns out, so far its got my attention.
