Rihanna Covers Bob Marley's 'Redemption Song' For Haiti

Rihanna recently covered Bob Marley's classic tune "Redemption Song" live on the Oprah Winfrey show. The song is now available for a charitable purchase on iTunes.

I am really loving how everyone is coming out to support the fallen island and know that this will mean only great things for the future of Haiti.

For a song that is so powerful by way of its lyrics and the simplicity of the acoustic guitar, I wish it were recorded and performed in its original form or they could have at least released the original version; no one could ever get tired of hearing this song, it's like a little black dress never out of fashion.

Rihanna's voice has definitely improved over the years. Was it perfect for the song selection, not quite.

Let's face it, no one can do it quite like Mr. Marley. That song was created and sized just for him, this is not a one-size fits all type of track.

Looking on the bright side of things, this will be an excellent way to garner funds for Haiti.
