*Updated* Did Kanye West's mouth get his tour canceled?

Tisk, tisk, tisk. Looks like an apology is not going to get Kanye out of the mess he seems to be in. Live Nation sent out announcements last night stating that Kanye and Lady Gaga's upcoming tour "Fame Kills" has been canceled, indefinitely.

Either Kanye's VMA tirade did not sit well with people or everyone is just broke; the tickets were going for $150 and $500 for VIP.

Now, Kanye has randomly exploded in the past, but was this the tirade that broke the camel's back?

I was actually interested in seeing this tour in action. Lady Gaga's idea had me a little interested in how the show would pan out, plus I love me some loca Gaga. Now the tour is just a dream deferred.

Some reports are saying that the tour was canceled due to low ticket sales while others are saying that there was "creative differences" between Kanye and Gaga.

I can see where the creative differences may be the issue, Lady Gaga likes to smear herself with faux blood while Kanye likes to perform with flying saucers and neon lights; why can't we all just get along for the love of music?

I personally don't know what to think anymore. The whole Kanye/Taylor Swift drama has been pegged a publicity stunt due to the fact that the two artists have the same agent. At this point, all I want is a new album and a monthly MetroCard half off.
UPDATED TO SAY: According to the Associated Press, Lady Gaga will be touring solo instead. She said that she and Kanye mutually agreed to cancel the joint tour. The reason for the cancellation is due to Kanye wanting to take some time off.
