The Associated Press caught up with Alicia Keys on the set of her photo shoot for her album, The Element of Freedom.

Alicia spoke about her new website IAmSuperWoman.com that will spotlight influential women. Alicia feels that this will fill the gap in the blogosphere that fail to uplift fellow women. I have to agree with Alicia about the lack of upliftment women experience on blogs and websites, the hate is simply ridiculous.

I personally love successful women, they are perfect examples that anything is possible and if they can do it, so can I.

Speaking of Alicia, she recently wrote a blog for Global Grind to evoke discussions regarding her charity to help campaign against AIDS in Africa and someway, somehow the topic shifted to the drama that is Swizz Beatz/Mashonda. Why do we care? I mean I know why we care but why do we care about it when the girl is talking about a charity that means so much more than said drama? People, SMH.
