Today we will visit 1981 when Frankie Beverly and the Maze band dropped this hit that I'm sure you heard at every friggin party you went to and will probably still get spins at parties today.

First time I heard this song I was about 6 years old and I was at a party with my aunt (boy did she know how to party). When they popped this baby in the cassette player the house got live and everyone simultaneously shouted "this is my song!". I believe that is the day I fell in love with R&B.
