Tyrese is keeping Chris Brown's spirits up

That brings the grand total to 3, for people that will allow Chris in their homes and still give a brother some love. A couple of weeks ago, Lil Mama spoke with MTV and told them that she wouldn't mind doing a song with Chris even after news of his altercation with Rihanna spread like wild fire.

A few weeks earlier, Diddy was said to allow Chris and Rihanna to stay in his home to reconcile (there were some rumors that said that Diddy was pissy at Chris for lying to him and that he set him up, but those were brushed to the side after Diddy appeared on Ellen to defend his choice in letting them see each other at his home).

Well, Now Tyrese has spoken up in defense of Chris calling him "young" and saying that the case "is taking a toll on his [Chris] spirit".

He says in an interview with People,

"Although he appears to be really strong through all of this, it's really taking a toll on his spirit. People like me and Puff [Diddy], we're just trying to show him love and keep his spirits up while he's going through all of the heat, and there are a lot people doing the same for Rihanna."

He then went on to say....

"It's really hard for him to focus right now on his music, even though he really wants to. At the end of the day, I'm not trying to justify it because wrong is wrong, but unfortunately, us as entertainers, we have to grow up onstage with a lot of people looking at us."

Tyrese made some very valid points; but people will most likely suck their teeth and roll their eyes at Tyrese's empathy for Chris given his own rumored history of hitting women.
