This weeks song of the week is courtesy of Grammy Award winner Musiq Soulchild with his song "Buddy". I was so captivated by the sampling of De La Soul's song (which was sampled from another) with the same title, that I always forget what it actually means.

"Buddy" is a must have in every one's iPod.
Musiq surprised me with this song when it first came out. I think a lot of music fans put him in the "lovey dovey" crooner category when it came to music making and would never picture him singing on a Hip Hop beat with so much soul and bounce. But he did, and the finish product can still be enjoyed the same today like it just hit the air waves.
