Uh oh Ryan you done gone and pissed Ed Lover and the crew off! This morning on Power 105.1's Ed Lover show, Ed Lover went in on Ryan's sneaky ways. The term "a friend of mine" no longer applies to Ryan when it comes to the crew of the show.
Last week, Ryan Leslie stopped by the Ed Lover show to promote his album Ryan Leslie (which is a M.Y. Recommended album) and while on the show Ed Lover and Free asked Ryan if there was anything to the relationship between he and Cassie. There was a brief pause before Ryan asked "Do I have to answer that" Ed and crew said "yes" and he said that there was nothing going on nor had anything happened between he and Cassie basically implying that Cassie and he were nothing but platonic friends.
Well, Ryan Leslie later that week hightailed his tail over to Hot 97.1's Angie Martinez show (the arch rival radio station to Power 105.1 in NYC) and sang a different tune. On the show when asked about Cassie he opened up like a can of worms. He went into detail about how he wants her to call him, how she doesn't answer his calls or texts, how much he felt a part of him missing because she wasn't at his album release party or the Virgin Megastore the day of it's release, everything! And it wasn't only Angie's show he decided to open up on, he did it on numerous other media outlets. Because of this Ed Lover and crew has dubbed Ryan a new name "Lyin' Ryan", Damn!
Ryan's reason for opening up on other radio stations and media outlets was that he felt "more comfortable" doing so with them. If that isn't a slap in the face for Power 105.1, I don't know what is.
But what I do know is that Ryan made himself some enemies on the other side of the radio pond.

Side Order: In case you are wondering, Ryan Leslie only sold 23,000 copies in his first week, but in the video he said that the stores ran out of copies and he had to resort to giving people albums which would not be tracked by Nielson Soundscan. Makes you go hmmmm huh?
