Did Common challenge Lil Wayne?

Earlier this week, there was talk about Common and how he was grilling up a little beef with Lil Wayne because of this line that he spit,

"I ain't Lil Wayne but I got a lollipop...I ain't Lil Wayne but I'd f*ck a lady cop".

I personally don't see how people would misconstrue his line as a challenge, if anything, I think he was taking Wayne's words and making it his own like most artist do. Plus, it was only a freestyle. You be the judge.

But wouldn't it be cool to see Wayne and Common beef? Then again Wayne probably would be too busy with his free time being occupied with tattooing people's faces...
