And the nominees are...


On Wednesday, the NAACP announced the nominees for their Image Awards. Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson lead the pack with Beyonce racking in 6 nominations including one for Outstanding artist of the year and Jennifer earning herself 7 nods.

Diddy, Kanye West and Common are among the hip hop artist with nominations as well.

The NAACP Image Awards air February 12th at 8 PM (ET/PT) on Fox.

Side Order: So I hear that Jennifer's PR people are denying that she will perform at Barack's inauguration. It would be a good look for her if she does, given the point in her career as well as the major opportunity and blessing to perform at a momentous event. I understand that she is still mourning, however I also hear she is in the studio. Either way, I hope she makes the right decision in the long run...
