Ouch! Lady Gaga Falls Off Piano In Concert (Video)

Lady Gaga was performing in concert on Sunday in Houston, Texas when she took a tumble on stage.

The singer had one leg on her piano bench and the other on her piano when she lost her balance and fell in the middle of her performance of her single “You and I.”

Gaga was mere inches away from hitting her head but still hopped back up and continued on with her performance as if it were part of the act.

Glad she avoided injury, but the sound that piano made as she went down was just...

You aren't big until Madame Tussauds makes a wax figure in your honor. Lady Gaga joined the I-am-somebody-important-which-is-why-I-have-a-waxed-figure-and-you-don't club yesterday when her waxwork figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds' London location.

Lady Gaga Sparks Rule Changes For The Grammy's Best New Artist Category

A lot of fans were a bit perturbed to find out that Lady Gaga wasn't nominated in the best new artist category at this year's Grammy Awards festivities. She was practically everywhere and her album The Fame was an excellent LP for a new artist.

The reason that was given regarding Gaga's exclusion from the best new artist category was that her single "Just Dance" was nominated in 2008 before she became a big deal and according to the rules, a previous Grammy nominee can not be nominated for best new artist.

[NEWS] Beyonce & Lady Gaga Top Forbes' 'Most Powerful Celebrities' List

The two ladies make yet another cameo together, but this time it isn't in music. Forbes posted their Celebrity 100 and in the top 5 are Beyonce and Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga landed in the #4 spot courtesy of her web visibility and pulling in $62 million between June 2009 and June 2010. $31 million came from touring (hence which is why she says she would much rather die on stage than on vacation) while the rest of the cash came from deals with Virgin Mobile, MAC, Polaroid...oh, every product placement that appears in practically all of her videos.

Beyonce on the other hand came in at #2 right under Oprah (no pun intended) pulling in $87 million over the course of a year. $85 million came from her "90-plus date global tour" and the rest from her album sales, her clothing line, and her endorsements including L'Oreal.

Women with money, now that is some powerful $h!t that I like...

Lady Gaga On Her Illuminati Dreams: 'My Music Is Like An Exorcism For My Fans And Myself'

From last week, excerpts from Lady Gaga's Rolling Stone interview started floating around the net.

This one about her "Illuminati dreams" takes the cake.

In her words,

"I have this recurring dream sometimes where there’s a phantom in my home,” Gaga tells Rolling Stone. “And he takes me into a room, and there’s a blond girl with ropes tied to all four of her limbs. And she’s got my shoes on from the Grammys. Go figure—pyscho. And the ropes are pulling her apart.”

But it gets even stranger. “I never see her get pulled apart, but I just watch her whimper, and then the phantom says to me, ‘If you want me to stop hurting her and if you want your family to be OK, you will cut your wrist.’ And I think that he has his own, like, crazy wrist-cutting device. And he has this honey in, like, Tupperware, and it looks like sweet-and-sour sauce with a lot of MSG from New York. Just bizarre. And he wants me to pour the honey into the wound, and then put cream over it and a gauze.”

Gaga was confused by her dream and turned to other sources to find out its meaning. “So I looked up the dream, and I couldn’t find anything about it anywhere. And my mother goes, ‘Isn’t that an illuminati ritual?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’”

She even consulted her good friend and mentor Deepak Chopra about past dreams. “The devil’s trying to take me, Deepak. I’m a good girl!” she told the spiritual leader, who eased her fears.

But she admits her nightmares inspire her eccentric stage shows. “I do have morbid dreams. But I put them in the show. A lot of the work I do is an exorcism for the fans but also for myself."

Imagine reading this while listening to Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna on "Run This Town", haunting to say the very least.

Lady Gaga is something else. Right when I think I've figured her out....

Christina Aguilera Is Jacking Rihanna's Style Not Lady Gaga's, Says Stylist

And here we are again. Rihanna's stylist Mariel Haenn spoke with the NY Daily News about Christina Aguilera's current brand of style.

The newly adopted daring chic (borderline street walker) that almost every artist is flocking to is a reminiscent one for Chrisitina who explored it once before during her Stripped days.

Anyhow, Mariel explained to the paper that the spikes and black patent leather is not a style that Lady Gaga made popular but more so a style that Rihanna has made her signature.

In her words,

"Seeing stuff − the black patent leather, the tutus and the spikes - reminds me of Rihanna more than Gaga."

I see it this way. If the clothes are not custom made for said artists and there is more than one on the rack, it's fair game.

All this swagger jacking talk is played. Christina should just go Back To Basics, literally and figuratively. Maybe then they'll leave that child alone...

[NEWS] Lady Gaga's New Album Set For Release Early 2011

When Lady Gaga said that she would much rather die on stage than at home on vacation, some people probably took her words for granted. Staying true to the workaholic oath, Lady Gaga has revealed to Rolling Stone Magazine that her newest album is currently completed and that it should be hitting stores and online early next year.

Gaga revealed that the album is going to be more serious than her previous LP's including her hit debut The Fame and that she is contemplating tattooing the album's name on herself.

But about the music, in her words...

"The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be." {Source}

More serious than the last?! Can you imagine what the videos are going to be like for those songs? *grabs rosary beads, then places them back down after getting a flash back of the scene from "Alejandro"*

More Gaga anyone?

Lady Gaga Hates Clothes, Wears Bra/Panty Set From 'Telephone' Video To Ball Game

Let me just say that when Lady Gaga first started to rise in popularity I was a big fan. She was different and quirky and I loved that about her. Her style was on some next sh*t and I was impressed.

Katy Perry Suffers From 'Pot Calling Kettle' Syndrome, Slams Lady Gaga's 'Alejandro' Video

Lady Gaga's 'Alejandro' music video premiered yesterday and has received a lot of feedback; some good others bad with the majority of its viewers being left frightened to ever press play on another Lady Gaga video again [raises hand].

One of Gaga's fellow artists and in my opinion direct competitions, Katy Perry, was very vocal about the video via her Twitter saying that she felt the video was done in bad taste because it mocked religion.

NEWS // Lady Gaga, Grace Jones Wants You To Stop Copying Her Style

We've been here before so none of this will sound new with the exception of the characters that are involved. In a recent interview with the Guardian newspaper, Grace Jones expressed her opinion regarding Lady Gaga and the similarities in her style with Grace's.

M.I.A. Slams Lady Gaga For Stealing Her Style: 'She's Not Progressive, But She's A Good Mimic'

So I guess the popular honeymoon is over....

Lady Gaga has come under fire via eclectic artist M.I.A. who claims that Lady Gaga stole her style and that she is nothing more than a biting gimmic who lacks versatility.

In a recent interview with New York Mag, M.I.A. unleashes her opinions on Gaga saying that the "Poker Face" singer is a Grace Jones and Madonna remake.

"I don’t know. Again, there’s Lady Gaga — people say we’re similar, that we both mix all these things in the pot and spit them out differently, but she spits it out exactly the same! None of her music’s reflective of how weird she wants to be or thinks she is. She models herself on Grace Jones and Madonna, but the music sounds like 20-year-old Ibiza music, you know? She’s not progressive, but she’s a good mimic. She sounds more like me than I f—ing do! That’s a talent and she’s got a great team behind her, but she’s the industry last’s stab at making itself important — saying, ‘You need our money behind you, the endorsements, the stadiums’ Respect to her, she’s keeping a hundred thousand people in work, but my belief is: Do It Yourself."

Ouch!

I was definitely a Lady Gaga fanatic with the release of The Fame. I loved the look and the music because it was so catchy and creative. The Lady Gaga that I see now is a little too weird for my taste and the music has become a little stale.

Never felt that she was a remake of the artists that M.I.A. listed, I just felt like she was inspired by those acts as every artists is.

What Does Beyonce, Lady Gaga & Porn Have In Common?

OK, wait, let me explain...

As I was perusing the net to kill a little time in between working, I came across a blog post that proved that Lady Gaga's "Telephone" video is a lot more freakier than people first assumed.

Now we all know that Gaga is a very public activist for the gay community so much so, she filmed the video for "Telephone" on the same set two popular gay porn movies were filmed.

I'll try to keep this as PG-13 as possible here folks...

Turns out two of the biggest gay porns, so I hear, were filmed on the same lot and there are some suggestive photos to prove it.

Interested? Check it out at The Gossip Jacker.

Lady Gaga + Gimmicks x Good Music = Success

We all can agree that Lady Gaga is not one to fall into the category of being a normal Pop star. She’s different. Weird even; but one thing that you can’t deny is that the “Poker Face” singer does the job of keeping her fans entertained both on and off the stage.

Official Artwork For Beyonce & Lady Gaga's 'Telephone'
