Video Premiere: Jadakiss ft. Swizz Beatz & OJ Da Juiceman-Who's Real

Here is the new video from Jadakiss for his song "Who's Real" that features Swizz Beatz and OJ Da Juiceman ands appears on Jada's album Last Kiss.

The beat for this song is crazy and a signature of Swizz, but I can't help but to have a problem with the nursery rhyme inspired chorus, but for the most part the song is official. The video is not so amazing but I admire rap videos that take place in the hood.

M.Y. Music Rumors: Did Coogi pay Jadakiss for song shoutout?!

Things that make you go hmmmm...

According to wendyista, Coogi payed Jadakiss to make mention of the brand in his song "Letter To B.I.G." that appeared on the Notorious soundtrack and that will appear on his album The Last Kiss that is due for a March 10th release.

The line that they speak of is when he rapped,

"In your memory I keep Coogi in my closet".



Granted, Biggie was a huge fan of Coogi and was the reason why everyone knows about the brand that was originally brought to the attention of the masses thanks to Bill Cosby but damn! This is suppose to be a song where you are paying homage to your slain brother-from-another-mother and you decide to bank on it!

On the other hand, I guess most would say that it is just business and I'm sure Biggie would want for Jada to make a little money off of a song that was dedicated to him, I think. Plus, Hip Hop has been promoting brands forever not to mention for free, and look where it has gotten them. Either, don't name drop in Hip Hop or get compensated when you do.

Cristal has had the audacity to say that they do not want Hip Hop artists promoting their ish after they made sooooo much money off of their free promotion; might as well get payed for promoting, better than showcasing brands free of charge in their videos and songs and getting shoved to the side after they become successful, like they ALWAYS do.

Video: Jadakiss-Can't Stop Me

Here is the new video from Jadakiss for his song "Can't Stop Me" off of his album The Last Kiss due in stores March 10th.

I really like this song. The rip from Tammi Terrell and Marvin Gaye's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" fits perfectly into the track, but then again once you sample a hit you will more than likely get a hit.

I like how Jada shows himself traveling from one region to the next and is that a Cheetah?!

I give this video a yummy B+ for Hip Hop diversity. Welcome back Jada!

Jadakiss in concert

Jadakiss will be blessing the stage at the Apollo on March 7th, 2009. His special guests will be Ryan Leslie and Slim.

Video: Jadakiss ft. Faith Evans-Letter To B.I.G. (The Official Video)

Ummm okay, so here is the official video for Jadakiss' song featuring Faith Evans for Jada's song "Letter To B.I.G.". The song appears on the Notorious movie soundtrack and is reportedly going to appear on Jada's album The Last Kiss that is due in stores in March.

I don't know why they didn't drop this video instead of the other one. Quite frankly, I felt the original video gave away far too many scenes from the movie but that's just my IMO. I like this video too, I just think it's way too late for an "official" video.

Jadakiss ft. Faith Evans "Letter To B.I.G.

Here is the new video for Jadakiss' song "Letter To B.I.G." featuring Faith Evans. This song overall is very touching and it really does take me back to the days of me hanging out on my stoop in Bedstuy spitting out sunflower seeds waiting for my turn to jump double dutch.

The video is mainly clips from the upcoming "Notorious" film. Judging by the clips, it really does look like its going to be a good movie despite what many might say.

I give this video a yummy B+ for bringing back good memories and recreating history through film.
