2011 is going to bring some really big things in music...well at least my fingers are crossed hoping that sentiment comes true. Adding to those big things, Chris Brown has confirmed that he and Bruno Mars will be teaming up on a new song.

[NEWS] Chris Brown, Justin Bieber To Premiere New Song On New Year's

It seems not only Lady Gaga is taking the excitement of New Years Eve and using it as promotion for important news surrounding her Born This Way album. Chris Brown and Justin Bieber are also jumping on the New Years Eve bandwagon with the announcement that they will premiere their new song at the stroke of midnight.

Chris took to his Twitter Christmas day to announce that he and Justin's new single will help ring in the new year.

"ME and @justinbieber got a BANGER/SMASH record for all the fans out there at the top of the NEW YEAR!!! 2011."
It will be interesting to see if Chris will play on his pop sound or if Justin will take a walk on the R&B side. We'll soon see.

While performing on stage at a concert in Rhode Island, Chris Brown showed Keri Hilson...his skills (ahem).

Someone has grown up well.

How Does Chris Brown & Usher On Tour Sound?

Seems like the partnership made between Chris Brown and Usher while the two were down in Jamaica last month will go beyond just a duet.

Producer/Songwriter Bryan Michael Cox spilled the juice (unintentionally of course) in a video, shedding light on news that has probably yet to be inked. But that won't stop the excitement from building up for all the Chris Brown and Usher fans out there.

The tour will more than likely hit the road next year if things go as suggested.

If this does happen, I definitely will need to get my hands on tickets to see all the dancing and shirtless wardrobes all in one arena. Only a fool and a straight man would say nay to that.

By the way, Chris Brown's single "Deuces" is creeping up Billboard's Hot 100 chart and is currently sitting at #56...

Peep the spill at the 1:05 mark...thanks Bryan, slips of the tongue are always welcomed here!

BET Exec Stephen Hill Denies Rumors About Chris Brown Fake Crying

This whole Chris Brown real or fake tears has taken on a life of its own and to be honest, I am so over it.

So I'll let BET's Executive Vice President of Entertainment and Music Programming, Stephen Hill, clear the air that surprisingly needs clearing in the first place.

In his words,

I think the pressure of the year and the lyrics of that song really just resonated. And, as someone who was backstage, there was nothing fake about that. I think there is a US Weekly story today about like his bodyguard gave him something to induce tears. Its just not true. I’ve been around actors who cry and when you fake cry, you don’t get…your throat doesn’t get swollen like it does [when you cry for real]. When he was trying to sing, he couldn’t get anything out. That’s a hard thing to fake. I appreciate people wanting to create controversy, but this guy has gone though a lot this past year, let this emotion be what it is. Everybody comes to the moment where you gotta make that change. {Source}

Lloyd Says He Told Chris Brown To Cry During BET Performance [Video]

Chris Brown's Michael Jackson tribute has been the talk of the net for the past few days following his touching live performance at the 2010 BET Awards Sunday (June 27).

While most of us were so taken by his performance, there are the some that are not buying his tears.

Lloyd's recent Q&A with Rap-Up won't help with their suspicions.

BET Awards Recap: Chris Brown's Emotional MJ Tribute, Kanye's Return, Prince Gets Honored, Nicki Minaj's Win + More

The 2010 BET Awards aired live last night Sunday, June 27 and it was definitely a show to remember.

When the BET nominees were announced a few months back, I was nothing short of disappointed. I felt there were a bunch of people that deserved nominations that didn't get them and I was still feeling a bit sour courtesy of last years uncooked buffet of no thanks.

This year was much different.

Alicia Keys and Chris Brown have both experienced a tough year. Chris Brown has been struggling to light the fire under the stove pilot that is his career ever since his fall out with Rihanna became tabloid and blog fodder.

Will BET Ban Chris Brown's Video For 'No Bullsh*t'?

Chris Brown released a new video for his song "No Bullsh*t" yesterday showing the once deemed "boy next door" getting sensual and sexual with his co-star.

The lyrics are a dead giveaway to what the video has to offer so of course some fans weren't too surprised to see Chris turn his sexy way up for the cameras.

Video Premiere: Chris Brown (feat.Tyga & Kevin McCall) 'Deuces'

Here is the new video from Chris Brown for his song "Deuces" that features Tyga and Kevin McCall.

The video is pretty simple and I am loving the beat.

Speaking of the beat...doesn't it kind of sound like a slow downed version of Rihanna's "Te Amo"?

Interesting...

Can Chris Brown's Career Survive 2009's Scandal?

2009 turned out to be a very challenging year for Chris Brown. The R&B/Pop artist that appeared to have it all became public enemy number one and the monster of everyone’s eye. A year before, Chris was considered the quintessential boy next door which is why many fans were left with their jaws on the floor once word got out that Chris beat his then girlfriend Rihanna to the point of bruises and swelling.

Though Chris has made an effort to try and repair his tarnished career by appearing on televised programs such as Larry King Live and ABC’s 20/20, some fans are still not convinced that he is indeed a “Changed Man.”

Is there any hope for Chris Brown in 2010?

VIDEO PREMIERE: CHRIS BROWN 'CRAWL'

Here is the new video from Chris Brown  for his song "Crawl" off of his album Graffiti in stores December 8.

I like the video. It's very simple and soft on the eyes. Singer Cassie plays Chris's love interest and I have to say that they make a cute pair.

SideBar: I still can't stand Cassie's haircut, sorry. Though I am sure she could care less what I think.

Video Rating: A yummy B+.

CHRIS BROWN GETS VERBALLY ASSAULTED IN PUBLIC (VIDEO)

When Chris Brown said in his MTV interview last Friday that he gets heckled in public by people calling him names like "woman beater", I had a hard time believing it.

I personally didn't think that people were that caught up in someone else's life that they took it upon themselves to be seen in public by being rude.

Boy was I wrong.

In the video above, TMZ catches a woman that heckles Chris making it known how much she despises him.

Two words, my word.

I guess she won't be first in line to pick up Graffiti when it hits stores December 8.

CHRIS BROWN'S DELUXE SPECIAL EDITION 'GRAFFITI' COVER ART

I really am not a fan of this cover. I won't go down the route of calling out Chris Brown's tight pants because I'm sure he's heard enough about it, oh wait, I just did.

I do like the robotic hand, kind of reminiscent of the movie I Robot that stars Will Smith.

Here is the official track listing:

1. I Can Transform Ya featuring Lil Wayne & Swizz Beatz

2. Sing Like Me

3. Crawl

4. So Cold

5. What I Do featuring Plies

6. Famous Girl

7. Take My Time featuring Tank

8. I.Y.A.

9. Pass Out featuring Eva Simons

10. Wait Featuring Trey Songz & Game

11. Lucky Me

12. Fallin Down

13. I’ll Go

Video Premiere: Chris Brown ft. Lil Wayne & Swizz Beatz- "I Can Transform Ya"

Here is the new video from Chris Brown for his song "I Can Transform Ya" featuring Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz.

This video is hot. The 3D and special effects are mind blowing. Not to mention the fact that the song matches the video ( I hate videos that have nothing to do with the song). I personally could care less for the song, it does nothing for me but the video is insane.

Chris is ready for a comeback, no?

Video Rating: A yummy A.

Chris Brown to release 'Graffiti' on Dec 15

Chris Brown a.k.a. the Twitter Romeo has announced his album's release date. Chris took to his twitter to let his fans know that they can expect to get his Graffiti album just before Christmas as it will be released on December 15th.

I know the world is supposed to hate this kid but I'm personally happy that he and Rihanna are moving on with their CAREERS and releasing ALBUMS; more so for Rihanna who hasn't released an album in over 2 years.

Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz will appear on Chris's first single titled "I Can Transform Ya" and from what I understand, Ryan Leslie produced a few tracks on the album as well.

Can't wait to hear the material, maybe he'll open up about what happened that night in one of his songs since he's been so tight-lipped about it in interviews - understandably of course.

Chris Brown is set to make his comeback in the Fall

Despite his horrible interview with Larry King, Chris Brown is ready to dust himself off and try again by making his comeback sooner than later. Some thought that Chris would be in hiding waiting for the humiliation to die down from his less than perfect appearance on the CNN program but Chris is showing a brand new strength.

Chris announced that he has completed work on his third studio effort Graffiti and that it is set for release by the time autumn rolls around. He also revealed that his single "Transformer" that features Lil Wayne will be released in a couple of weeks and will be the official first single.

At this point, I just want an album out of the boy. We have been sucked in to the drama that is he and Rihanna and I want some damn music. It seems like every artist is too busy with their personal dramas (ahem, Nas and Usher)and seem to have lost directions to the recording studio ~sigh~. Get to work please, I'm running out of CD's to play.

Plus, Keri Hilson said that all an artist needs is a hit song to get back into the good graces of their fans. She might be right, R.Kelly was welcomed with open arms when he dropped "I'm a Flirt" even after his illicit cabin fever ~shrugs~.

On the charts...
