Video Premiere: Bow Wow 'Big Time'

Here is a new video from Bow Wow for his song "Big Time."

Bow Wow is currently signed to Cash Money Records. Probably this is a hint that a new album is coming out.

On another note, where did all those tats come from? Too much, no?

Video Premiere: Bow Wow-Love Struck

Here is a new video from Bow Wow for his song "Love Struck".

It stars Pussy Cat Dolls' Melody Thorton. Call me crazy, but is Bow Wow sounding a little like Drake since being signed to Cash Money? Granted it's been 2 days since the announcement, but there is mos definitely a sound alike going on. Much in the same, the video is pretty cool and I think that he and Melody would (if not already) make a cute couple.

Video Rating: C+.

Fame seems to be hurting the new generation of Hip-Hop

And another one bites the dust. Bow Wow took to his twitter to express his sadness about being rich, not quite in those words but it seems like these kids are letting their fame get the best of them. First it was Kid Cudi, then it was Soulja Boy, and now Bow Wow is saying that he is unhappy with his fame.

"Man I be gettn bored wit life. I wish I neva did and seen err thang so soon. I have nuffn to look forward 2. I’m down more than I am happy

In a dark place!

goodbye"
When I first read this tweet, the first thing that came to mind was that Bow Wow seen how much attention and love Soulja Boy got for being real about his feelings and his current state and decided to hop on the I-feel-bad-for-myself bandwagon.

Whatever the case may be, these two need to consult with Russell Simmons and find out how to find inner peace because it looks like they are falling apart at the seams if you ask me.

Yummy Quote: Bow Wow says...

In reference to a photo that popped up with Ciara and Kim Kardasian posing together....

"Fellas, don’t you feel like a G when ya ex and another girl u banged or f*cked around with r now friends? boosts my ego up! like daaaayum ima pimp

wat makes it funny i dont think she knows! ha! im laughn lol…."
~que eye roll here~ Hmmm...someone sounds bitter and childish. I doubt Ciara is thinking about you Bow Wow, but OK.

Bow Wow bids farewell to Hip Hop

Bow Wow is ready to close the book on his so called legacy, and decided to speak to Realtalkny.net about his past and his future. What is Bow Wow's advice to the artists that remain in the music industry? He says that people need to stop worrying about selling albums and worry about being big on the Internet because that is what really matters, not record sales (that part needed reiteration).

Bow Wow why are you lying?! Why can't artists just keep it 100? If you know that you are bowing out of the game because you see that there is no longer room for you and your time has past, why not just say so?

For him to sit there and say that it's not about sales is so fake of him. 2 weeks before New Jack City Part II (that's the name of the album by the way) dropped, he was popping off at the mouth saying that his album was going to go platinum and was clowning Soulja Boy for his album flop. Turned out, Soulja Boy sold more than him!

Leave humble, don't go on talking all that cocky mumbo jumbo about you being and having this, that, and the third; that is the reason why people didn't go out and buy the album because you were talking ish your album couldn't prove.

There are many factors involved in seperating the greats from those that are wack in music and album sales are one of them. If your album is worth buying then it will sell. Alicia Keys was able to go platinum and so did T.I. amidst a recession. Why? Because their albums were actually good. If your album is filled with nonsense then yes, your album will flop. It's called giving the crowd what they want, quality material.

At any rate, congratulations to Bow Wow for having a career epiphany. Here's wishing him luck in his future endeavors.

Yummy Pics: Bow Wow's album release party

Bow Wow celebrated the release of his album New Jack City Part II last night at Santos Party House. The event was hosted by Myspace and NYC radio station Power 105.1. Check out the pics....
No better way to show you are grown than to perform bare chested at your album release party..this one is for the teens....
Hmmm....Bow Wow and JD are officially the same height, I think. Is anyone else just a little grossed out at Jermaine grabbing his vienna sausage?!...

Video Premiere: Bow Wow ft. Dondria-Like This

Here is the new video from Bow Wow for his song "Like This" that features Dondria who is a young lady with an incredible voice that was discovered by Jermaine Dupri on YouTube. "Like This" appears on Bow Wow's album New Jack City Part II in stores March 31st.

There really isn't much to the video. Bow Wow basically sings his song and takes us on a mini tour around the tour bus...literally. The song has a very nice ring to it and I can see it catching on. I have to say, Bow Wow is looking cute in the face..hmmm...

Video rating: A yummy C+.

Video: Bow Wow ft. Johnta Austin-You Can Get It All

Here is the new video from Bow Wow featuring Johnta Austin for his single "You Can Get It All" and I'm sorry Bow Wow but I'm not buying it. I'm not feeling the singing on the track, what do you want to be, hard or sweet?

I can definitely see the song being something hot because it was sampled from a hit, TLC's "Baby, Baby, Baby", and the fact that it's for the ladies it will be on every teen girls iPod; and we already know, whatever the ladies like the fellas tend to follow in suit but that's the only thing that will get this song far.

I give this video a yummy C for attempted grown and sexy.

JD and Bow Wow cover The Source

Jermaine Dupri and Bow Wow are the cover boys for The Source magazine's February issue. I never realized how short Bow Wow was.

Anyhow, I have a few opinions on these two. I think it is about time that Bow Wow try to make that transition from kid rapper to heavy hitter. He has a little style to him that can definitely take him far and I think to do that, he has to move away from JD.

Every time I see the two together I can't get the "iced out Mickey Mouse chain" line out of my mind. It's time to do some well put together callabo's. Time to do a feature with Jay-Z or with a major pop artist like Britney..something.

Side Order: Check out info on JD's recent career change.

On the charts...
