Erykah Badu's decision to kick it Adam & Eve style in her video for her song "Window Seat" is going to cost her.
According to the Associated Press, Erykah has been fined $500 and has received 6 months probation for stripping down to nothing at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas.
What made the situation even more clutch-your-pearls worthy was the fact that it was at the same site late president John F. Kennedy was gunned down in 1963.
I thought that the charge was a bit harsh. Yes, I know... she got naked in public and we Americans are sooo afraid of nudity although we love simulating sex in advertisements, but I digress; I just feel being fined and placed on probation for 6 months out of the year is a bit much given the scenario.
Perhaps it was where Erykah got naked at that brought on the probation. Maybe it was because she didn't have a permit to film the video or could it have been because of all the junk in her trunk? #hmmm...
According to a city spokesperson, Erykah has already paid her fine of $500.
