Sometimes we get a little too sucked into the drug that is mainstream music (I must admit that I find myself fighting to free my ears from its hold). We find ourselves saying that there is no more good music when in fact that is far from the truth. Good music is indeed among us, we just have to seek it out. Earlier this year I interviewed M.anifest, a Ghanian rapper representing Minneapolis with a lyrical flow and stamina that is like peeled onions to most rappers today, and yes it is that serious.

He recently released a new track titled "Blame My Ego" which is a collaboration with A.R.M. (African Rebel Movement) and was produced by Budo.



You can't tell me this song is not hot! The lyrics are on point and the way they ride the beat is reminiscent of a surf board on a tidal wave.
