Nicki Minaj Pulls Out Of Rihanna's 'Last Girl On Earth' Tour

Looks like Barbie won't be the Last Girl On Earth....

It was announced earlier this week that Rihanna is set to embark on a tour this summer and was to be joined by pop singer Ke$ha and rapper Nicki Minaj.

According to Nicki Minaj, she won't be appearing on tour.

The rapper made the announcement via her Twitter account apologizing for pulling out, citing the ongoing work on her album as the reason for her decision not to appear in Rihanna's Last Girl On Earth Tour.
"Barbz I'm sorry 2 say I will not be going out on RiRi's tour. I've decided 2 use that time 4 the completion of my album. Hope u understand."
The news has been met with mixed feelings. Some are bummed while others saw it coming as Nicki does not have much songs to perform solo as she doesn't have an album out, just mixtapes.

I had a feeling she wasn't going to go on tour not only because she doesn't have any solid singles (with the exception of her newest release "Massive Attack") but because she wasn't mentioned when Rihanna announced the tour via video to her fans.

This would have been a great way for Nicki to build her fan base but at this point bowing out of the tour is the smartest thing she can do so that her album can get more attention which will give it a chance to house good material.

Hopefully they have decided to devote a lot of time to her first release, "Massive Attack" just didn't seem to do her hype any justice.
