Melanie Fiona sings in subways

It don't get more real than that. This is one of the reasons why I like Melanie Fiona. Besides the fact that she is an amazing singer, she comes off as very humble and down to earth and honestly that kind of characteristic seems to be a lost art in music today.

In the video above, Melanie takes a trip to the subways of New York to link up with musicians to recreate some of the songs off of her album. Not too many artists are willing to get that real and precise, then again not too many artists are willing to sing live anywhere except for a studio.

Melanie's debut album The Bridge is scheduled to drop in November.
