The Dream will bow out after Love King

I never thought that I would see the day when my DREAMs would come true. Not to say that I am a hater (well hell.... yes I am, I hate bad music) but hearing that The Dream will return to songwriting and bid farewell to singing is such a relief, selfish I know.

Now, now Dream stans, don't attack your girl for being honest (i'm only saying what a lot of people are saying behind closed doors or mumbling under their breath when his song comes on the radio ::exhale::) but gosh darnit he was hurting the heck out of my ears with his lack luster vocals and slurred speech not to mention his video's that he failed to show any type of expression in, were working my brain cells. Whew! So glad I got that off my chest now on to the report....

The Dream announced on his Twitter Thursday that his third album Love King will be his last studio album. The album that is 90% complete, will supposedly be the final installment from the producer/songwriter. Here is what Dream had to say about his career decision.

"I am engaged and 'Love King' IS going to be my LAST album!" he tweeted. In a subsequent post, The-Dream explained, "It is going to be [his] last bcuz, everybody is trying to 'KILL THE DREAM!' [The Dream is] the ONLY one that can end [his] career".
I'm happy that The Dream has had a career epiphany, not for my own selfish reasons but for the fact that he knows what he wants. Singing may not be The Dream's strongest talents but I happen to like The Dream as a songwriter. I feel he is a great contribution to the industry and is one of the main ingredients behind the success Rihanna sees today with his penning of "Umbrella".
