Tyrese says goodbye to music

While there are those who are itching to get back into the board game of the music industry, there are some clamoring out.

Tyrese recently visited Vibe magazine's office to discuss his new plans and his new found love affair with Hollywood.



Honestly, I think this is a great decision for Tyrese. He turned out to be a very good actor and I can definitely see him getting an Oscar nod in the future if he works hard at it.

The element that shows that an artist can make a smooth transition into Hollywood is when they act as a character in a movie and we forget that they are music artists; that is what Tyrese did in Baby Boy and Annapolis to name a few; I saw him as Jody in Baby Boy not Tyrese.

Besides, that last album he put out, Alter Ego, was not that great. The idea to try to do Hip Hop was a huge jump from his lovey dovey R&B swag and was a little awkward.
