D'Angelo returns!

According to Billboard, D'Angelo is set to team up with Prince on his new album that is his first album to be released since 2000. D'Angelo's manager has also said that D'Angelo will be collaborating on the album with Raphael Saadiq and Gnarls Barkely to name a few.

The album is scheduled for a Summer release courtesy of J Records. D will also be hitting the stage this Summer making this his first show in many many years. It will kick off in Europe and then will return home to the states. Dates have not yet been released.

This is cool. We hadn't seen D'Angelo in so long positively. If you can remember, he's been in a bad accident, had drug problems, and had a run in with the law; so it's great to see him getting back to work. It looks like the 90's R&B singers want to get back in the game because it has also been reported that Ginuwine is slated to make a comeback.

Side Order: I must warn ladies, I heard through the grapevine that D'Angelo might not be returning to his "shirt-off" days. Apparently he wasn't feeling the attention he was getting when he was selling sex; too much pressure for the brother. Hmmm... imagine how female performers must feel huh?!
