K'Naan and his song "Somalia". This song and video is so real and raw, I love it! It is off of his album Troubador that is due to hit stores in 2009. I love the fact that there is light being shed on what is going on in Africa because it is really rough out there. A lot of people think if they don't hear anything about it it doesn't exist but it does. This is seriously what we need. There is nothing wrong with conscious rapping its actually a good way to get your mind right and to practice being grateful. Things are definitely looking up. Africa stand up!
